Brenda Carroll White

Brenda Carroll White , 67 of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday September 8, 2015 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab.  Brenda was born on June 29, 1948  in Butler County Kentucky  to the late Leo and Ruby Gidcumb Carroll. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and the Friendly Four Gospel Group.  Brenda was a full time homemaker and had worked at  Kane's and Kellwood thru out the years She was preceded in death by her parents,  infant sister Norma Lynn Carroll

 Elzie R. Hoops, 87, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at his residence.  Elzie was born on January 3, 1928  in Butler Co., Ky. to the late Elzie and Dicie Smith Hoops.  He was retired from B & R Lumber and enjoyed singing.  He was preceded  in death by his parents, grandson James Hayes, Daughter Bertha Ann Hayes  Sister Nettie Basham, brother William "Wiggie" Smith.

Anthylene Childress

Anthylene Childress, 68, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Kentucky. Anthylene was born April 10, 1947 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Charles and Julia Ann Kirby Carathers and she was the wife of the late Glendon Childress. Anthylene was a custodian at Morgantown Elementary for several years and a homemaker.

Carol Dian Eby

Carol Dian Eby passed away on August 30, 2015 at her home in Henderson, Nevada.  She was born in Butler County on February 24, 1948 to Pal Leon Willis and Marie Willis.  She was the oldest of six children.  Her passions included being a loving wife, mother, sister and friend along with her world travels with her best friend and husband, Don Eby.  The two visited all 7 continents and over 110 countries.

ShyAnne Paige Embry, 28, of Caneyville, passed away Friday, September 4th, 2015 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. 

She was born on Thursday, April 30th, 1987 in Bowling Green, the daughter of Cecil and Beverly (Parks) Embry. ShyAnne was a member of Chapel Union Baptist Church. She worked at E & E Quality Services and was also a cashier at the Do Stop Grocery.

Frances M. McKee, 91, of Logansport, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at Morgantown Care and Rehab. Frances was born on Sunday, December 2, 1923 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Richard and Hattie Jones Thomas and and wife of the late Gordon McKee. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church, worked at Kellwood for many years, and a homemaker. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother John L. Thomas and one grandson Joseph McKee.

Winifred Jean Goodall, 74. of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Jean was born on Monday, November 18, 1940 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Paul T. and Hazel Kinkade Smith. She was a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church, worked at Kanes and Kellwood until she retired, and was a homemaker. Jean is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Paulette Fritz.

Anita Rager Smith, 78 of Muhlenberg County, Ky. passed away Saturday August 29, 2015 at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Anita was born on Wednesday February 10, 1937 in Muhlenberg County Kentucky to the late Mose and Laverda Maxberry Rager and wife of the late Arthur R. "Smitty" Smith. She is preceded in by death by her parents, husband and two brothers David and Freddy.

Mary was born on Thursday May 24, 1917 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Herman and Laura Ellen Daugherty Embry and wife of the late Everett White. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Vergie Ilean Parker and two grandsons David Leon and Kerry Allen McKinney.
