Donald L. Jones, age 75, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Saturday, (October 31, 2015) at his residence.

He was born on October 14, 1940, in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of the late Darrell and Juanita Jones.

He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, and after retiring from IBM, he worked as a manager and a programmer for Humana. He enjoyed Texas-style barbeque, loved the Navy and, enjoyed fishing in his youth.

Billy Glen Daugherty age 73 of Morgantown, Ky passed away November 1, 2015 at Owensboro Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Ky. Born on January 10, 1942 in the Gilstrap community of Butler County, Kentucky. Billy was the only child of the late Lawrence and Dorsie Butler Daugherty.

Glen Dale Pendley, 84, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on June 15, 1931. Glen enjoyed woodworking, talking on his CB radio and rabbit hunting.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clido and Eva Bingham Pendley, one daughter, Glenda Denise Pendley and one sister Omie Kimmel. 

Geneva Bernice Tines, 96 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday October 30, 2015 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Geneva was born on Saturday February 15, 1919 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Justice and Otha Baxter Baucum and wife of the late Alton Tines. Ms. Geneva was born on the family farm and grew up working in the fields and doing chores around the home place.

Paula Ann Bush, 59 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday October 29, 2015 at her residence. Paula was born October 13, 1956 in Jefferson County Kentucky to the late William Rollin McCoy and Effie Harlan Thompson who survives and wife of the late Ralph Pat Bush. She was a member of Fern Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Gary Ray Cooper, 60, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 29th, 2015 at the Meadows Group Home in Mt Washington. 

He was born on Thursday, May 5th, 1955 in Butler County, the son of the late Tildon “Till” and Faustine (Haynes) Cooper.

James L. Greene, 77 of Arab, Alabama formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Kindred Hospital Louisville at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. James was born March 1, 1938 in Butler County, Kentucky  to the late William Cleaburn and Dorothy Penner Greene. He was a retired self employed oil field business man and a Kentucky Colonel. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters Mildred Howard and Helen Tirey; four brothers William Cleaburn Greene Jr., Ralph C. Greene, Thomas Yates Greene and Richard Penner Greene.

Lena Vivian Wencker, 89, of  Imperial, MO passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Scenic View Nursing Home in Herculaneum, MO. Vivian was born in Guston, KY on September 23, 1926 to Thomas Granville Smith and Hettie Board Smith. Vivian was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.  She served at state level as a Worthy Matron and Grand Secretary.  She was a member of the Arnold Baptist Church and loved to cook, play cards, bingo and enjoyed her grandchildren.   Vivian was preceded in death by son Stephen Douglas Allen, parents and 10 siblings.

Clifford Talmich White, 87, of Pekin, died Sunday, October 18, 2015 in North Pekin at the home of this granddaughter, surrounded by his family.
Clifford was born August 2, 1928, in Gilstrap, Kentucky. He was the son of Leamon and Myra Jane (Cochran) White. He married Rose Marie Winkler they spent 59 years together.
Later he married Wilma Yauch of Kankakee, she survives.

Dorothy Phelps, 85, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Dorothy was born on Friday, November 22, 1929 in Warren County Kentucky to the late Ebb and Edna Cherry Joiner. She was a member of Green Valley Church of Christ and a retired cook from Fourth District and Morgantown Elementary and a homemaker. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Joe Joyner and Ernest Joiner.
