James Michael Parker, known to family and friends as Jim, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at his residence in Morgantown, Kentucky, at the age of 74.

Jim was born on September 19, 1951, in Springfield, Illinois, and lived a life marked by devotion, hard work, and steadfast love for those around him. He was the son of the late James M. and Marjorie Weber Parker, who preceded him in death. Jim carried the values of family, service, and perseverance throughout his life, and those who knew him will remember him as a loving, courageous, and passionate man.

Matthew Troy Henderson, age 24, of Centertown, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at his residence. He was born on May 13, 2002, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and lived a life that touched the hearts of many with his loving spirit, and kind nature.

Peter "Pete" Henderson, 79 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born January 23, 1947 in Butler County, KY to the late Ertest Fay and Doreen Telford Henderson. Pete was a member and trustee at Cool Springs General Baptist Church, and a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. Pete enjoyed hunting and fishing. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his brother and sister in law Mike and Carolyn Henderson. 

Kathy (Rouzer) Baker, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026.  She was born in Bedford, PA on Oct. 8, 1953.   Kathy was a CNA at Twin Lakes Hospital in Leitchfield.  Kathy loved knitting, cooking, baking and spending time with her grandkids.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Baker; father Sheldon Rouzer; son Elwood Baker Jr.; sister Doranne Ray.

Carla Jean Stiles, 65, of Grand River, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Marshall County Hospital in Benton, Kentucky. She was born on June 18, 1961, in Bloomington, Indiana, and lived a life marked by love, devotion, and quiet strength. Carla was a member of Woodbury Missionary Baptist Church and she found joy in simple pleasures and treasured the time she spent doing the things she loved. She enjoyed shopping, antiquing, and watching her grandchildren play sports. These moments brought her happiness, and she especially loved being present.

Mavis Lee Caudill, 84, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on June 23, 2026. She was born on September 5, 1941, in Butler County, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by love, kindness, and devotion to the people who meant the most to her.

Jana Joyce Forbes, age 84, of Morgantown, KY passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026.  She was born in Roundhill, KY on April 6, 1942 to Grady & Gusta Tomes.  Jana was a homemaker who loved flowers and gardening. Jana also cherished her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Joe Forbes and brother Jerry Tomes.

Kathleen C. Woodcock Gibb, 79, of Owensboro, Kentucky,  formerly of Morgantown, KY,  passed away on June 21, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on September 12, 1946, in the Neafus Community of Butler County, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, and quiet strength. 

Wanda Woosley Smith, age 78, of Roundhill, KY passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026.  She was born in Roundhill, KY on Nov. 18, 1947.  Wanda was a member of Temple Hill Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, canning, spending time with her family and friends and going on mission trips.  She was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Helen Tomes Woosley.
