Timothy Green Rice

Timothy Green Rice passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Heartford House. He was born on April, 14, 1963 in Columbia, South Carolina to Maitland B. Rice and the late Wanda Green Rice. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. He was a man of faith and tried every day to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Tim was employed with ATMOS Energy for 31 years. He loved spending time with his family and playing golf.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clara and B.C. Green and Maitland and Opal Rice.

Betty Jo House Wilson, age 67, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on July 19, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on Feb. 23, 1957 in Morgantown, Ky.  Betty was a homemaker and a caretaker for the elderly.  She enjoyed collecting whatnots, being with her family and taking care of her fur baby, Heddie.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents Marcus Ray and Bessie Lou Hope House; sons Scotty D.

Brenda Jo Bryant, 76, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024. The Morgantown native was born February 7, 1948, to the late Paul Beliles and Mary Elizabeth West Beliles. Brenda graduated from Butler County High School, class of 1966. She was a full-time homemaker taking care of her daughters and grandkids which she spoiled and loved dearly then later worked at Bacon’s department store. Brenda also loved Elvis and animals, especially her dogs which she would take to McDonald’s and Dairy Queen for ice cream.

Karon Kay Booth, 74, of Bowling Green passed away July 15, 2024 at her home. The Butler County native was a Butler County High School history teacher, a teacher at Green River Boys Camp in Cromwell, a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, a published author of an historical fiction book, “Cover Fire”, enjoyed crafting, and was a member of Locust Grove Church of Christ in Franklin after spending most of her life as a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Rodney Ross Gary and Kate Edith Ellis Gary.

Gregory “BUDDY” Clark, Jr., age 24, of Mammoth Cave, departed this life on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his home. The Edmonson County native was born on December 29, 1999 to Gregory Clark, Sr. and Stacy Martin. 

Buddy was a 2019 graduate of Edmonson County High School, and worked for Flener Fencing. He loved the outdoors, nature and riding four wheelers.

Eric Osbon Berry

Eric Osbon Berry of Owensboro, Ky., passed away at the Heartford House in Owensboro, on the 8th day of July, 2024 at the age of 67.  He was born at Ramey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico on November 5, 1956, to the late Master Sergeant Eugene E. Berry, Sr., and Gailya Porter Berry who survives.
