Laura Jo "Neighbors" Lawrence

Laura Jo “Neighbors” Lawrence, age 83, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on February 18, 1940 to the late Frank and Georgia Harrod Neighbors. She was a member of Woodbury Baptist Church and a retired postmaster in Woodbury.  She loved to quilt, sew, read, watch westerns and solve puzzles.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill Lawrence and brother Jerry Neighbors.

Jonathan Michael “JohnBoy” Renfrow

Jonathan Michael “JohnBoy” Renfrow, 35, of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Fordsville, Kentucky. He was born on December 22, 1987 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Pamela Lawhorn and the late Michael Ray Renfrow.

Aside from his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ralph Lawhorn; and two uncles, Mitchell Lawhorn and Freddie Neil Hicks.

Louise Renfrow Williams, age 87 of Cecilia, KY passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at her residence. Louise was born on Saturday, February 1, 1936 in Beaver Dam, KY to the union of the late Fredrick and Eva Rowe Renfrow. She retired from Home Health Care after many years and enjoyed working in her yard, working puzzles and reading. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by two sons Eddie Norwood and Gary Williams; one brother Raymond Renfrow and three sisters Ruth Veltrie, Sue Veely and Juanits Mitchell.

Corey Michael Miller

Corey Michael Miller, age 29, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023.  He was born in Greensboro N.C. on Nov. 17, 1993.   Corey was a U.S. Army Veteran who enjoyed fishing, hunting, nature and making walking canes.  He was an avid UK basketball and Eagles football fan.  He was preceded in death by his grand-fathers Carl Clymer and JC Miller.

Raymond Stanley Casson

Raymond Stanley Casson, age 84 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. Raymond was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1938 in Illinois to the late Victor and Elizabeth Orr Casson. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, a lifetime member of the VFW and member of the American Legion. Raymond was named veteran of the year at the Morgantown VFW  in 2016. He loved watching Westerns and working puzzles.

Linda Darlene Deweese, age 60 of Morgantown, KY  passed away on Wednesday the 10th day of May 2023 at her residence. Linda was born on the 3rd day of October 1962 in Bakersfield, California to the late Hollis Parton and Gladys Hignite Johnson and wife of the late Philip Deweese. She attended Cool Springs General Baptist Church. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by 3 brothers Billy McMenemy, Bobby McMenemy, and Randy Johnson.

Yvonne Kay Deweese, age 65 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Yvonne was born on Thursday, July 4, 1957 in Louisville, KY to the union of Charles Wilson and the late Vivian Bernice Willet Wilson. After many years of service Yvonne retired from Walmart and she loved working puzzles, fishing, gardening, spending time with her family and her dog Remington.

Rebexie Fields Coss, age 80, of Morgantown, Ky., formerly of Kings Mountain, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born on Aug. 26, 1942 to the late George Dewey and Cisiah Fields.  She was a photographer and enjoyed gardening and quilting.  Rebexie was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters Gina Coss and Sonia Coss.

Janice F. Martin Dossey

Janice F. Martin Dossey, age 70 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Janice was born on Tuesday, August 19, 1952 in Warren County, KY to the union of the late Raydo and Erma Isabell Basham Martin and wife of the late James Cecil Dossey. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, owner of Childrens Fashions Dress Shop and co-owner of D&D Sewing Factory. Janice cherished spending time with her family. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her twin sister Joy Sheffield.
