Sheila Jean Prairie, 69 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, August 7, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Sheila was born September 16, 1947, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Earl Persinger and Anna Theresa Phelps Patrick and wife of the late Wayne Prairie. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida and retired from the University of Central Florida as a custodial supervisor.

Sheila Jean Prairie is survived by one son Mark Wayne Prairie of Morgantown, Kentucky; four sisters Kay (Phil) Tarrence of Morgantown, Ky., Shirley Oller of Louisville, Ky., Wanda Martin of Louisville, Ky. and Teresa Beech of Louisville, Ky.; one brother Larry Persinger of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
