Jewel M. James

Jewel M. James, 81, of Bowling Green entered into rest Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. Jewel was born February 11, 1936 in Butler Co., KY and was preceded in death by his parents Jewel Leslie and Myrtle Cook James.

Jewel was real estate salesman, broker and property manager under Jewel James Realty and Property Management. He also had J & M Sales and Service installing T.V. Towers and Antenna’s. Jewel was an avid fisherman and loved to host fishing tournaments for his special fishing buddies. He was a member of Lehman Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Mildred  James. One brother-in-law Jerry Mallory of Owensboro, KY. One niece Stacey Davenport (James) of Bowling Green. 2 great nephews Landon Robbins and Logan Davenport and several cousins also survive.

Jewel requested a graveside service with no visitation. Graveside will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Warren Mills Cemetery on Gilstrap Road, Hwy.1118 in Butler Co. Arrangements have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
