Kenneth S. Wells

Kenneth S. Wells, 62 of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. Kenneth was born October 8, 1954, in Warren County Kentucky to the late Thurman and Bonnie Erdine Kirby Wells and husband of the late Teresa Johnson Wells. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan, loved cars and was a hero to his family.

Maxine Cardwell, 88 of Roundhill, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Maxine was born October 12, 1928, in Butler County Kentucky to the late B.R. & Dovie Lindsey Childress and wife of the late Tildon "T" Cardwell. She was a member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a farmer and housewife. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son Tildon Cardwell Jr., two daughters Sarah & Sally Cardwell and one brother Buster Childress.

Donnie Ray Woodcock, 66, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, May 28th, 2017 at Springview Nursing and Rehab. 

He was born on Sunday, May 20th, 1951 in Grayson County, the son of the late Abe Elzie and Lizzy (Whobrey) Woodcock. Donnie enjoyed bowling and loved the Special Olympics.

Margie V. Morphew, 95 of Cromwell, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Kentucky. Margie was born November 7, 1921, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Archie and Pearl Keown Rogers and wife of the late James Wesley Morphew. She was a member of Green River Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother Ray Rogers Jr. and two sisters Hazel Coots and Lorene Greer.

Roger Dale Hack age 65 of Morgantown KY went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 25, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.  Roger was born to Roy E. and Gertrude Mudd Hack on December 27, 1951, in Caneyville, KY.  Roger served in the United States Army for 8 years during the 1970’s.

Bud Belcher

Bud Belcher, age 39 of Bowling Green, KY passed away Sunday, May 21st, 2017 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born in Bowling Green on November 18, 1977 to Bobby and Mary Belcher. He was vice president of Encore Energy.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Misty Kessinger; two daughters, Peyton Marie Belcher and Aspen Knox Belcher; one sister Elaine Frint (Brad) of Bowling Green; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Logan, Triton, Brintley, Crash and many more. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ashton Belcher.

Mrs. Gloria Jean McKinney Igo age 77 of Elkton, KY passed away 12:52 a.m. Tuesday May 23, 2017 in Baptist Health of Madisonville, KY of natural causes.  Memorial service for Mrs. Gloria will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Mr. Larry Threlkel officiating.  A private burial will be held at a later date.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. Thursday until time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.

Truman McBradley Whitehouse, 61, of Hillview, Kentucky passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 5, 1955 to the late Truman Bradley and Priscilla Wallene Whitehouse. He was a member of Okolona Christian Church.
 
Truman is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Whitehouse; sisters, Patricia Warren, Sara Reba Mary Lou Reid, Alberta Roseanne Cantrell and Zina Felice Lister; and a host of other family members and friends.

Mitchell Neil Drake, 77 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Neil was born December 10, 1939, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late McKinley Oliver and Ivy Elizabeth Pendley Drake. He was a United States Army Veteran and a retired construction worker. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers Cecil, Robert, Philip, Oliver and Ruby Drake.

Otis "Randy" Randall Felty, 65 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Randy was born July 28, 1951, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Roy Otis and Cova Johnson Felty who survives. He was a member of Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church, a United States Army veteran, recipient of three sharp shooter medals, a Kentucky Colonel, retired director of the 5th District Fire Dept. and a member of the Banock Lodge #824. Randy loved car racing and the University of Kentucky basketball.
