Jean Smith, 71 of Fort Pierce, Florida formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the Lawn Wood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Florida. Jean was born April 6, 1946, in Muhlenberg County Kentucky to the late James Fleming and Lillian Lorene Reynolds. She was a retired EMT for the Butler County Ambulance Service and a retired dispatcher for the Butler County Emergency Services. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one grandson Jeremy Smith and four brothers.

Jean Smith is survived by Bill Rowley of Fort Pierce, Florida; one daughter Linda (Patrick) Arndell of Henderson, Kentucky; one son Mike (Lisa) Smith of Rochester, Ky.; four grandchildren Jordan (Chelsea) Arndell and Jennifer Arndell both of Henderson, Ky. and Megan (Trent) Embry and Jacob Smith both of Rochester, Ky.; one great- granddaughter Olivia Embry of Rochester, Ky.;one great- grandson Alex Embry of Rochester, Ky.; three brothers Bunky (Dovie) Fleming Browder, Ky., Bobby (Brenda) Fleming of Browder, Ky. and Joe (Sherry) Fleming of Greenville, Ky. and one sister Wandeta Durall of Hanson, Ky.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, August 11, 2017, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Pete Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, from 11:00 am to funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
