Patricia JoAnn Elmore

Patricia JoAnn Elmore, 71, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Medical Center.  She was born in Louisville, Ky. on June 4, 1944 to the late John and Doris Pulliam Gross.  Patricia worked at D&W Sales and Service in Louisville also at Foodland in Morgantown.  She attended Aberdeen Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking, country music and taking care of her grandkids and spending time with her family.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by husband, James Elmore; son, Douglas Flynn; daughter, Doris Brown and grandson, Keith Flynn.

Timothy Allan Snider, 54 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at his residence. Timothy was born February 19, 1961 in Xenia, Ohio to the late Donald Lloyd Snider Sr. and Shirley Ann Kimsey Snider. He was a truck driver for Clay Jones Trucking. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Cyndi Snider and one brother Danny Snider.

Lester Glyn Tyree, 81 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at his residence. Glyn was born on Saturday, August 25, 1934 in Butler County Kentucky to the late James Vinyard and Bonnie Eileen Duncan Tyree. He was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church, a United States Air Force Veteran where he severed as a military police and received the National Defense Medal.

Mary Kellis Embry Moore, 70, of  Morgantown, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ky.  She was born in Butler Co. on October 28, 1945 to the late Owen Embry & Nova Duke Embry. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Moore and many siblings.

Morris A. Casey, 72 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Morris was born on Sunday, May 16, 1943 in Jefferson County Kentucky to the late Bonnie and Mabel Snodgrass Casey. He was a member of the Gilstrap Church of Christ, United States Army Veteran and a retired barber. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters June Bloyd and Ann Turner, three brothers Lindel Casey, Bonnie Lewis Casey and James Neal Casey and mother in- law Margaret Maddox.

Donald was born on Friday, May 19, 1939 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Owen and Nova Duke Embry. He was a retired Logger and preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Carolyn Johnson, 77, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Jan. 13, 1939 to the late H.E. and Thurlow Renfrow Dye.  Carolyn was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church, a factory worker at Holley Carburetor for 15 plus years and loved her grandbabies.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Forest Johnson; sisters Margie Burris, Naomi Stevens; brothers  Rollin, Edwin, Maurice and Wandell Dye.

Nannie Belle Brown Hammers, 93 of Huntsville, Ky. passed Monday February 8, 2016 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky. Nannie Belle was born March 7, 1922 in South Hill, Ky. to James Riley and Myrtle Greathouse Brown. She was retired from Kellwood Manufacturing Co. and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Nannie Belle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis V. Hammers and baby daughter Vicky Lou Hammers as well as 2 brothers Shelley Brown and Heazie Brown and 3 sisters Maddie Proctor, Millie Neace & Novie Odle.

Scottie Lamar White, 77 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She was born Thursday, August 11, 1938 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Fred VanFleet and the late Ruth Sumner VanFleet. She was the wife of the late Kenneth "Pete" White.

She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church.
