Lennie Rone Drake

Lennie Rone Drake, 94 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky. in Bowling Green, Ky. Lennie was born on Friday December 23, 1921 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Buel and Louva Martin Rone and wife of the late Carlton E. Drake for 71 years. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and retired in 1982 from the United States Postal Service where she served as post master for many years and was a member of the Retired Post Masters Assoc.

Carson Inscoe

Carson Inscoe, 88 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at his residence.

He was born Friday, October 14, 1927 in Quality, Kentucky, the son of the late Elna Inscoe and the late Dovie Ragland Inscoe. He was the husband of Norma Hardison Inscoe for 65 years, who survives.

He was a laborer for TVA and a member of New Hope General Baptist Church.

He served as a Cpl in the Army and a Veteran of Korea.

Ronnie G. West, 63, of  Morgantown, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 5, 1952 to the late Alston and Velma Payton West. He was a Drywall Hanger and a member of the Leonard Oak Baptist Church.  He was a Ky. Colonel, loved to race cars, go to church and was a jack of all trades. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Heartlynn was born March 20, 2016 in Bowling Green, Ky. to James Clinton and Autumn Christine Branch King. She is preceded in death her maternal grandfather Kevin Branch and paternal grandparents Jerry and Kathy King.

John Lewis Decker, Jr., 52, of Beaver Dam passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. He was born March 1, 1964 in Evansville, Indiana. John was employed by Real Alloy in Morgantown and a member of Echols General Baptist Church.

Arzilla was born on Sunday December 16, 1928 in Butler County, Ky. to the late Richard House and Doomie House Oller Decker and wife of the late Oval T. Clark. She was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two sons Larry S. Clark and Oval Wayne Clark, three brothers Richard, L.D. and Remon House and a son in law Ernest Joiner.

Stella Mae Oliver

Stella Mae Oliver, 73 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday March 16, 2016 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. Stella was born on Friday March 20, 1942 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Asbury and Pearl Howard Harlan and wife of the late Wayne Oliver. She was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and Methodist Women, editor of Sugar Grove news for many years, she worked at Fruit of Loom and Kanes for several years and one of the founders of the Morgantown Mission.

Judy Lee Ayers, 78 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Judy was born on Thursday, March 10, 1938 in Provo Kentucky to the late Reggie Wayne and Capitola Holman Lee and wife of the late Bobby Joe Ayers. She was a homemaker and a member of Morgantown First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing with the church choir and Ms. Lenny's Girls. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one grandson Chase Gribbins.

Frances Arvilla Payne

Frances Arvilla Payne, 86 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Frances was born on Friday, April 12, 1929 in Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Leonidas Ray West and Sallie Jane Render West and wife of the late Norman Payne. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three sisters Nancy Petty, Virginia and Thelma West; two brothers Oakley and Tom West and one nephew Larry Dale West.
