James "Jimmy" Vernon Coots

James "Jimmy" Vernon Coots, 68, of  Bowling Green, Ky., passed away Saturday evening, April 16, 2016 at his residence from complications with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on July 12, 1947 to the late Oakley and Ruby Flener Coots. He was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, Tres Dias and the Simpson Co.

Ruby G. Hill, age 96, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her residence in Boyds, Maryland. She was the wife of the late David H. Hill., Born Oct. 13, 1919 in Nelson, Kentucky a daughter of the late Vol T. and Mattie Annis Garrett.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 21, at Greenridge Baptist Church, 21925 Frederick Road, Clarksburg from 2:30 p.m. until funeral services begin at 4:00 pm. Pastor Tim Simpson will officiate.

Robin E. Hudnall, 53, of  Rochester, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Sept. 28, 1962.  He was a laborer for Heimbrock out of Local Union 1392, loved playing basketball and hunting with his boys and enjoyed playing with his grandkids.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Harry Hudnall and brother, Ricky Hudnall.

Walter Tennie Boykin

Walter “Tennie” Boykin, 78, passed away Sunday afternoon at Wake Medical Center surrounded by his family.
Walter was born in Johnston County, on October 25, 1937 to the late Lether and Mary Horne Boykin. He will be remembered for his love of farming, and the many friends he made while working on the farm.
A Service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. by the graveside at Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lewis Godwin officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

William Daniel "Danny" Harral

William Daniel "Danny" Harral, 63, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at his residence.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on June 6, 1952 to the late William Fonzo and Bessie Clark Harral.  He was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church and a retired beautician.  He loved refinishing furniture and interior design.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters, Delphia Mae Coleman, Mary Elizabeth Hunt, Patricia Abell and Wanda Jean Harral; niece Patricia Hunt Knight.

Lewis Ray Stinson, 67, of Scottsville, KY died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  The Holland, KY native was a retired employee of Dollar General, a U. S. Army veteran and son of the late Chester Lewis Stinson and Beatrice Long Stinson Meador, who survives.

Louise Kurfiss, 75, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Friday April 8, 2016 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center. Louise was born on October 10, 1940 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Buckner and Oler Coleman Reynolds and was the wife of the late Bobby L. Kurfiss. She was a member of First Apostolic Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers - Wilbert and Eugene Reynolds.

Danny Ray Adkins, 49, of  Greenville, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital.  He was born in Warren County, Kentucky on April 28, 1966.  He was a team leader at Daicel Safety Systems and attended Greenville First Assembly of God Church.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Adkins, and brother, Charles Lee Adkins.
