Darlene Adamecz Norris, 78, of Morgantown Ky. passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Hospice House of Southern Ky. She was born in Blue Island, Il. on November 2, 1939 to the late Stephen and Margaret Lange Adamecz. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville Il. Darlene loved to stitch baby blankets, cook, collect precious moments and going to auctions with her husband Merle. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Annette Millsaps; sister Eleanor Cavallini.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years Merle Norris of Morgantown; two daughters Patricia Ann Noah of Fl. and Kim Lee Moore of Bowling Green; son Richard Allen Norris (Jayme) of Morgantown; nine grandchildren Mark Noah Jr. of Ca., Melissa Noah of Il., Thomas Millsaps of In., Jason Millsaps of In., Krystle Gabbard of Bowling Green, Richard Wellin of Il., Austin, Shane and Dean Norris of Morgantown; many great grandchildren; two brothers Charles Adamecz (Jacqui) of Il. and Michael Adamecz of Il.; sister Joanne Hart of Il.; best friend Carol Ester of Granville, Il.

Funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 1 pm with Rev. Eddie Slaubaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 13 from 3-8 pm and Wednesday, March 14 from 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
