David Earl White Sr., 74 of Morgantown, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. David was born October 29, 1943, in Gilstrap, KY to the late Jesse and Myrtle Daugherty White. He was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and a retired; self-employed carpenter, heavy equipment operator, and barber for 20 years in Ohio Co. Other than his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene "Jean" White, two brothers; Dewell and Charles White, one sister, Violet Godsey and two daughters-in-law; Donna and Janice White.
David is survived by two sons; David E. White Jr. (Vanessa) of Morgantown, KY, and Roger White (Julie) of Morgantown, KY. One daughter, Carol Turner (Joey) of Gallatin, TN, one granddaughter, Tiffany Oliver, of Bowling Green, KY, two grandsons; Johnathan Oliver, of Bowling Green, KY and Dakota White, of Morgantown, KY, two step-granddaughters; Beth West, of Morgantown, KY, and Sarah Blunk, of Battle Creek MI, two step-grandsons; Latney Blunk (Samantha) of Bowling Green, KY, and David Blunk (Tiffany) of Morgantown, KY, three great-grandchildren; Emma and Elliott "Bub" West, of Morgantown, KY, and Savaha Ann Blunk of Morgantown, KY, one sister, Bernice Sublett (Eddie) of Morgantown, KY, special nieces; Larkin and Hallow O'Connell, of Morgantown, KY, special nephews; Larry Joe and Joey O'Connell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 8:00 AM until funeral time at 11:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
