December  2, 2011 was a very special date for the descendants of Christopher Columbus Johnson and Lillie Frances Flener Johnson. The Masonic Hall in Morgantown was decorated with Christmas colors: tablecloths provided by a friend of the family, Christine Coleman; centerpieces by Paula Young Taylor; Christmas tree decorated by Darleen Taylor with ornaments made with Johnson pictures; and lots of great Johnson food provided by each family. Scenic Route Photography

The Country Look

There is nothing better than an early  morning country drive to get the blood flowing. Dog Creek Rd. on the north side of Butler County sure has some beautiful scenery. This barn was definitely a keeper!! They just don't make barns like they used to and I guess that's why I'm so fascinated with the ones that are left.

It's good to be back with my Beech Tree family! And remember, we serve a powerful God and he blesses us everyday, even if we don't realize it sometimes. Always take time out of your day to stop and smell the roses along life's journey.
