Ashley Bridges checked her text messages on Wednesday morning, November 9, expecting to find her usual family updates and news from her boss. She was just a little surprised when she opened his text message to find an interesting photo. Ashley’s boss, Rodney Goodman, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Bowling Green/Warren County is on a mission trip to Haiti. They are working on building 100 homes in Haiti to meet the needs of the many that are still living in tent cities since the earthquake there. President Jimmy Carter is on the trip along with some other famous people. The group that Rodney is serving with includes some quite famous faces. Rodney knows that Ashley is a huge Garth Brooks fan and decided that she might enjoy a personal greeting from the County Music Superstar!
