Festival of Trees

Fourth Annual Butler County Education Preservation Fundraiser Festival of Trees, Set-up date is only days away !
We start setting-up trees at 8:00 AM November 26, the Saturday after Thanksgiving at the Butler County Education Complex, giving families a chance to work together.
We will be open for tree set-up:  Monday 11/28 at 9:00 till 5:00, Tuesday 11/29 9:00 till 8:00 Wednesday 11/30 9:00 till 5:00 and Thursday 12/1 9:00-8:00.
Festival of Trees dinner is Friday December 2 in the board room at the Butler County Education complex catering   by Green River Caterers. With dessert the guests will enjoy the Fact or Fiction Panel on, the Civil War in Butler County to honor the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.  We will adjourn to the Festival Winter Wonderland and have the Festival of Trees Lighting by Superintendent Scott Howard and BCEPS president Geoffrey Henderson.
Tree categories are Festival Trees, Memory Trees and Gifted Pines.  We already have two Gifted Pines, Butler County chorus and Future Farmers of America, all tickets sold on these trees will go to the organization chosen. A ticket will be drawn at end of Festival and win the fully decorated tree!  This year we have added the Mission of Giving Food Tree which will be made out of donated canned goods.  
 We open December 3 at 12:00 to the public before the Morgantown Christmas Parade at 2:00 we close at this time and open again after the parade till 5.
December 4 Sunday open during the Butler County NSDAR annual Christmas Home Tour till 5.
We are open December 5 and December 7 from 10:00 –5:00.  December 6 and 8 10:00-8:00 and December 9 10:00 to 3:30.
If you are interested in putting-up a tree or  Festival of Trees dinner reservations must be in by November 21 please contact  {Trees} Janie,934-2373 or {Dinner Reservations} Lynda, 999-0273 .
When visiting the Festival this year please bring a canned good and help us build the Mission of Giving tree all items collected will go to Morgantown Mission food bank. VFW Post 5837 Ladies Auxiliary asks you to bring a Christmas card to a soldier and drop it in the box by their tree.  They will see that they are mailed to our soldiers.
If you have never been to the Festival, please stop by, admission is $1.00 for adults and a vote on your favorite tree.   Children under 12 free.
