50th Anniversary Reunion Class of 1961

By Christine Coleman: Saturday, September 17, 2011 marked the 50th anniversary of the BCHS 1961 Graduating Class.
Sixty-Nine classmates attended with their spouses and friends. Reservations were made for five teachers and three were able to attend: Mrs. Louise Forsythe, Mr. J.C. White and Mr. Wilbur Drake.
The new Eva Hawes Building made us feel very welcome and comfortable for the four hours that we spent visiting and renewing friendships. "Up in Smoke" was the caterer and the food was awesome.
Several classmates who have always attended were absent, and several who had never attended were with us. Our plans for 2012 include having a 9:00 a.m. breakfast at the Ryan's Family Steakhouse in Bowling Green, on the 3rd Saturday in September. No invitations will be sent. Mark your calendars and remind your friends.
