Christine Simmons Massey, 78 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday,April 9, 2013 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Christine was born November 21, 1934 in Farner Tennessee to the late Fulton and Charlotte Dorothy Gibson Newman and wife of the late Richard Robert Simmons and Howard Massey. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Bowling Green, Ky. and a retired CNA.
she was preceded in death by one son Gary Simmons, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

James O. Casey was born in Butler Co., KY. He was married to Vivia Geary Casey.

James was a Production Worker at General Electric, an Army Veteran serving in WWII and a member of Clarkson Church of Christ.

He is survived by two sons Jerry O. and James T. Casey; six grandchildren: Kenan Casey, Rebecca Taylor, Micah Nichols, Sarah Beth Rucker, Marah Casey and Alex James Casey; and five great-grandchildren: Logan James Casey, Maegan Casey, Cyan Nichols, Liam Casey, and Gideon James Rucker.

Elizabeth Woodcock, 90 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at her residence. Elizabeth was born October 17, 1922 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Herman "Red" Embry and Ruth Myers Daniels and wife of the late William Ira Woodcock. She was a member of Morgantown First Apostolic Church and retired from General Electric. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Carrie Jeanette Woodcock; 2 brothers; Paul C. Embry and Braxton Gulley, 2 sisters; Mildred Ruff and Bessie Gulley.

Lisa Leann Stovall Baggett, 51 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Lisa was born January 8, 1962 in Jefferson County, Kentucky, to William C. Stovall and the late Patricia Ann Cunningham Stovall. She was preceded in death by one sister Renee Mueller.

Ruby Pauline Bailey Hammers, 94  of Rochester, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Belle Meade Nursing Home in Greenville, Ky. Mrs.

David Forsythe Hutcheson Sr. (81) of Paducah, Kentucky passed away peacefully into the precious hands of God on April 2, 2013 comfortably in his home. He was born October 16, 1931 in Morgantown, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara H. (Johnson) Hutcheson; his mother A. Mildred (Forsythe) Moore and her husband John A. Moore; his father Charles O. Hutcheson.

Jewel Mayhugh McCoy, 95 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Jewel was born April 7, 1917, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Friday and Florence Porter Mayhugh. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Morgantown, retired from Warren Rural Electric after 30 years of service, and worked 12 years at the AFCS office. She was preceded in death by four sisters; Nada Proctor, Eva Mae Askew, Ovie Mayhugh and Leatrice Givens.

Claudis Lee “Buck” Willis, 84, formally of Brownsville, KY, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Forest Hill Health and Rehab Center, East Moline. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 12th at Messiah Lutheran Church, Port Byron.  Burial will be in Kentucky at a later date. Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron is handling arrangements.

Ruth T. Embry Wilson, age 83, of La Grange, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 30, 2013) at her daughter’s home in La Grange, KY.

She was born on August 16, 1929 in Neafus, KY, the daughter of the late Ernest and Trula Duke Embry.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and a Christian.

Ruie Elaine Nash Dockery, age 76, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Friday, (March 29, 2013) in Clarkson. She was born on March 18, 1937 in Morgantown, KY, the daughter of the late Oscar and Nellie Brooks Nash.

She was a retired sewing machine operator, who enjoyed her flower garden and walking. She was a member of the Noah’s Chapel Church in Butler Co., Kentucky.
