Elizabeth Woodcock, 90 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, at her residence. Elizabeth was born October 17, 1922 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Herman "Red" Embry and Ruth Myers Daniels and wife of the late William Ira Woodcock. She was a member of Morgantown First Apostolic Church and retired from General Electric. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Carrie Jeanette Woodcock; 2 brothers; Paul C. Embry and Braxton Gulley, 2 sisters; Mildred Ruff and Bessie Gulley.
Elizabeth Woodcock is survived by 2 daughters Lucy McKinney and husband Dyke of Dunbar, Ky. and Virginia Bratcher and husband Jerry of Hartford, Ky.; 3 sons William Woodcock and wife Faye of Kingman, Indiana, Steve Woodcock and wife Mary of Franklin, Indiana and Sheldon Woodcock and wife Terry of Pawnee, Illinois; 19 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 30 great -great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 2:00pm with Bro. Jerry Bratcher officiating. Burial will be in the Wade Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and Thursday from 8:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
