Ina Pearl Brister

Ina Pearl Clark Brister, 80  of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center in Morgantown. Mrs. Brister was born May 21, 1932 in Butler County, to the late William Arthur Clark and Minnie McKinney Clark Manning.  She was a housewife and of the Church of Christ Faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Theodore Brister, sister Edith Hunt and  daughter Janet Meairs.

Tempie Marie Webster

Tempie Marie Webster, 97 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab in Morgantown, Ky. Tempie was born December 18, 1915, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Uriah and Nina Belcher Bailey and wife of the late Chester Willis Webster. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one daughter Ruth Ann Lindsey; one son Bobby Earl Webster; one grandson Steven Hunt; one great granddaughter McKenzie Webster and 2 sisters Laura Mae Bailey and Pauline Hammers.

Thomas Granville Cates, 87,  of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center in Morgantown. Mr. Cates was born June 4, 1925 in Logan County, to the late Joseph William Cates  and Fannie Pearl Price Cates.

Louise W. Arnold, 91 died Saturday December 8, 2012 at Myrtle Beach Manor, SC. Born on September 2, 1921, near Morgantown, Ky. she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Grace Wester Arnold. She was also preceded in death by her husband Warren Arnold; two sons Anthony W. and Joseph E. Williams; and two brothers William A. and Elmo Arnold.

She was Godly woman who read her Bible and devotions daily and was a member of Parkland Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.

Robert E. Snodgrass, 93 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday April 12, 2013 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab in Morgantwon, Ky. Robert was born April 13, 1919 in Butler County, Ky. to the late Esley R. and Winnie Butler Snodgrass. He was a founding member of the Morgantown Church of the Nazarene, founder of the Gideon International Butler and Edmonson Camps and retired contracter. Preceded in death by one half brother. Lois C. Johnson, 81 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, at her daughter's residence. Lois was born May 13, 1931, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Weaver and Mary Ollen Phelps Woodcock and wife for 66 years to the former jailer the late Hilery "Jim Bat" Johnson. She was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Butler County Deputy Jailer, and sang with the Heaven Seekers and Gospel Couriers. She was preceded in death by one brother Otis Woodcock and one sister Altia Woodcock.

Carrie Dee Middleton

Carrie Dee Middleton, 86,  of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at  Rosewood Health Care in Bowling Green. Ms. Middleton was born July 4, 1926 in Butler County, to the late Garrett Hobert and Ider Mae Bratcher Blancett.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Donnie Marcrum who died at age 42 and an infant; and one sister, Beulha Mitton.

Howard Renfrow

Howard Renfrow, 88 of Brooklyn, Kentucky, went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday April 9, 2013, at his residence. Howard was born October 13, 1924 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Herman and Beulah Cox Renfrow and husband of the late Dorothy Irene Phelps Renfrow. He was retired from the Kellwood Company and founding member of Renfrow Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Brooklyn, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by 2 infant children and 2 brothers Billy and Harold Renfrow.
