Robert Lewis Neace

Robert Lewis Neace, age 70, of Rochester, KY, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his residence. Robert was born on June 12, 1942 in Butler Co. to the late James and Millie Brown Neace and was a gas station operator. He was receded in death by 2 sisters Gayle Glover and Dorothy Spalding and 2 brothers Jimmy and Billy Neace. Robert Lewis Neace is survived by 4 sisters Shirley Chandler of Franklin IN., Annie Martin, Eula Mae McIntyre, Lucy Pearl Hamilton all of Owensboro Ky. 1 brother Carlos Proctor of Greenfield IN. and several neices and nephews.

Walter Hoover Gipson

Walter Hoover Gipson, 84, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, March 24th, 2013 at his residence. 

He was born on February 21st, 1929 in Edmonson County, the son of the late Gus Thomas and Ida Mae (Jaggers) Gipson. He was a plumber. Walter attended Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Andrew Jackson Woosley Jr. 86 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his residence. Andrew was born July 4, 1926 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Andrew Jackson and Ester Idella Brooks Woosley. He was a retired farmer, World War II Navy Veteran and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters Kathy Woosley and Diana Woosley Cupp; granddaughter Jocelyn Michelle Woosley and 11 brothers and sisters.

Lewis Evans

Lewis Evans, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his residence.  He was a retired Butler County school teacher with 41 years of service, a retired bus driver and baseball coach and retired from the City of Morgantown.  Lewis was an avid UK Basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan.  He was a deacon at Mt. Liberty Baptist Church and  a Kentucky Colonel.  He always supported his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their activities.

Sophia Elizabeth Ann Shepard, 4 months old of Linton Indiana,  passed away Wednesday, March 20, Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis In. Sophia was born November 19, 2012 in Sullivan  County, Indiana to Perry Shepard and Jessica Donna.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents;  Glenn Shepard and Kathy Donna.

Gary Wayne Hunt

Gary Wayne Hunt, 50  of Morgantown, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, after an extended illness.  Mr. Hunt was born March 16, 1963, in Jefferson County, to the late Archie Hunt and Betty Fields Hunt Baxter who survives .  He was of the General Baptist Faith and a former employee of Gallager & Basset  Company where he was a fork lift operator.   He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Hershel and Eria Hunt, Charlie and Susie Fields, Uncles Carl Fields and Claude Hunt.

Joseph J. "Jack" Knight

Joseph J. "Jack" Knight, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his residence. Jack was born April 1, 1942 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Charles and Eloise King Knight. He was a MP in the Army and Vietnam Veteran, Past Commander of Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 5837 and Quarter Master of American Legion Post 151. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers King and Robert Knight . The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Ky. for their help and support. Gary L. Whittinghill, 56 of Jetson, Ky. passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky Hospice Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Gary was born December 16, 1956 in Edmonson County, Ky. to the late Willard and Janie Elzo Chambers Whittinghill. He attended New Life Assembly Church and worked in sales and farmed.
