UPDATE: Services for Wanda Jean Harral were held Saturday at 1 pm at Smith Funeral Home but due to weather conditions burial is postponed until 1 pm Tuesday, March 10 at Aberdeen Cemetery.

Virginia Hatcher, 78, of Utica, Kentucky died Monday, February 23, 2015, at Professional Health & Rehabilitation in Hartford, KY. She was born January 23, 1937 in Butler County, KY to the late Julian and Ruth Phelps. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Hatcher in November, 2012; brothers, Ruford Phelps and Randall Phelps of Morgantown, Kentucky.

Vernon L. Milam, 70 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday February 14, 2015 at his residence. Vernon was born May 20, 1944 in Butler County Kentucky to the late George Clarence and Golda Mae Cannon Milam and husband of the late Kathleen Cardwell Milam. He attended Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and a retired drywall finisher. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one daughter Patricia Milam; one son Vernon Milam Jr. and one brother Clarence Milam.

Charles M. Mauzy, 86, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2015 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, Kentucky surrounded by family at his bedside.
 
Charlie was born on July 21, 1928 in Morgantown, Kentucky to Golda Martin Threlkel and Allie Monroe Mauzy. He graduated from Butler County High School and attended Centre College before joining the Air Force where he served with pride in Europe during the Korean War.
 

Palma "Pam" Lou Mayhugh, 80 of Bowling Green died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Greenview Hospital. The Butler County native was a daughter of the late Eckless and Beulah Garrison Wingfield and was preceded in death by three brothers.

Kevin Todd Davis, 49, of Roundhill, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his residence. Todd was born August 11, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to Samuel J. and Reva Parrish Davis, who survive. He was a member of Roundhill Church of Christ, Reedyville Watershed Board, worked 18 years for Winn Dixie, was a diesel mechanic for Dwight Embry Garage and a farmer.

Bro Leonard Embry, 87, of Caneyville, passed away Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at Grayson Manor Nursing Home. 

He was born on August 17th, 1927 in Grayson County, the son of the late Odra Mason Embry and Daisy (Willoughby) Embry. He was a member of the New Home General Baptist Church. Bro Leonard preached for over 50 years and was a retired school bus driver.   

Margie B. Combs Jent, 87 of Glasgow, Ky. passed away Sunday February 8, 2015 at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Ky. Margie was born April 18, 1927 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Mart and Mami Gibson Combs. She was a retired property manager and of the Baptist faith. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one son John Jent, three brothers Raymond, Ben and John D. Combs, three half brothers Bill, Jerry and Lester Sumner and four half sisters Sue, Sally, Becky and Maryann Sumner.

Geraldine Johnson, 69, of Morgantown, passed away, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Morgantown Care and Rehab. She was born May 15, 1945 in Select, Kentucky to the late Charlie M. and Adle Baize Burden. She attended Bible Baptist Church in Beaver Dam, was a member of the Korean War Veteran’s Woman’s Auxiliary and was a homemaker.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Adle Burden and her husband, Randall Johnson.

Melissa Lynn Johnson, 49 of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Friday February 6, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Melissa was born October 20, 1965 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Claude and Ora Burden Boone. She is preceded in death by one daughter Ashley Miller and one son Tracy Johnson.
