Kathleen Reilly

Kathleen Reilly, 73 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday January 13, 2017 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Kathleen was born December 19, 1943 in Elkhorn Wisconsin to the late Steve and Helen Kadlac Horvath.
Kathleen Reilly is survived by one son Larry Peyer; one sister Margie Lange and close friend of the family Jim Goodwin.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date and arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.

Monita Gale Layton, 69 of Hartford, Ky. passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Gale was born September 26, 1947, in Grayson County Kentucky to the late Laymond D. and Tonita Cooper Embry who survives. She was a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Green River Boys Camp. Other than her father she is preceded in death by her husband Eldon Doyle Dockery.

Elizabeth "Bet" Gaskey, 84 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Elizabeth "Bet" was born December 25, 1932, in Butler County Kentucky to the late John and Ruby Phelps Williams and wife of the late J.L. Gaskey. She was a member of The First Apostolic Pentecostal Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two brothers T.J. and W.L. Williams and two sisters Bonnie Shepherd and Donnie Ammons.

Wayne Leaman Snodgrass, 48 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, January 16, 2017, in Morgantown, Ky. Wayne was born April 2, 1968, in Butler County Kentucky to Darrell and Pat White Snodgrass. He was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, self-employed roofer and worked for Mark Hood, Hood's Farms.

Leonard G. Smith

Leonard G. Smith, 75, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Butler Co. on July 19, 1941, to the late George and Marietta Embry Smith.  He was a Minister and a member of Flatwood Church of Christ where he preached for several years. He loved to fish, and one of his greatest passions was watching his grandsons play football.   He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Timothy Kirk Madison.

Martha Nell Woosley, 83, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Morgantown Care & Rehab.  She was born in Butler Co. on March 12, 1933, to the late Estil Mason and Ophelia Proctor Mason.  She was a member of the Woodbury Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Awana Club.  Martha loved to crochet, work puzzle books, sew, cats & reminiscing about the past. She was preceded in death by her parents;  Grandsons; Jonathon Hugh Henderson & Joshua Ryan Givens.  Brother; Bunie Mason. Sister; Opaline Dennis.

Oval Mae Burden Geary

Oval Mae Burden Geary, 80 of Hartford went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2016 at Morgantown Health and Rehab Center. She was born June 3, 1936 in Ohio County to the late Nathan “Nat” and Lelia Burden Moore. Mae was a member of New Assembly Church and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Geary was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband of 30 years, Bennie Frank Burden; her second husband, Aubrey Dale Geary; two brothers, Woodie T. Moore and Allison Moore; and two sisters, Christine Renfrow and Lulla Saylor.

Inis Faye Alford Huff

Inis Faye Alford Huff lost her battle to cancer Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at home surrounded by family who loved her deeply. Faye was born Sept. 4, 1955, in Butler County, daughter of the late Esco and Murrel Alford. Faye also was preceded in death by two sisters, Iva Miller and Ida Mae Boone; and two brothers, Ricky Alford and Roscoe Alford.

Lucille (Brooks) Embry, age 90, of Caneyville, passed away Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 at Grayson Manor Nursing & Rehab.

She was born on Wednesday, March 31st, 1926 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Ike and Bertha (Wilson) Brooks. She was of the Church of Christ Faith. Lucille was a caregiver and homemaker.
