Leslie "Bug" Johnson, 77 of Bowling Green, Ky. passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky., Leslie was born May 15, 1939, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Audley and Renie Johnson. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, retired truck driver, and tree trimmer and loved his dog, Buddy. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter Angela Sue Johnson and one brother J.M. Johnson.
Leslie "Bug" Johnson is survived by his wife Connie Oller Johnson of Bowling Green, KY.; three daughters Sherry Murphy (Billy) of Bowling Green, KY., Pamela McCluskey (Terry) of Brownsville, KY. and Cathy Rigsby (James) of Bowling Green, KY.; one son Leslie Johnson of Richardsville, KY.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers Lloyd Johnson of Morgantown, KY., Billy Johnson of Brownsville, KY. and Talmie Johnson (Ann) of Jetson, KY.; one sister Lucille Deweese of Jetson, KY, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, January 9, 2017, at 12:00 pm with Bro. Mike Daugherty officiating.

Burial will be in the Payton Phelps Cemetery.
