Randall Lee "Randy" Hamlet, 54, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Randy was born March 17, 1962, in Marion, KY to the late Arlie "Beaver" Smith and Virginia Nell Smith who survives. Randy was a retired river boat deckhand and a US Army Veteran.  He was preceded in death by his wife - Bobbie Jo Tarrance Hamlet.  
Randy Hamlet is survived by two daughters; Rachael Cameron (Scott) of Quality, KY and Randi Cameron, of Quality, KY, mother Virginia Nell Smith, of Morgantown, KY, two step daughters; Tiffany and Whittany Jackson, of Morgantown, KY, seven grandchildren; Sydnee, Lake, Paul, Warren, Sadie, Haylee and Karlee Cameron, of Quality, KY, one step grandchild, Savayah Lindsey, of Morgantown, KY, one brother, David Hamlet (Diana) of Morgantown, KY, two sisters; Rhonda Taylor (Wally) of Morgantown, KY and Belinda Meador (Caroll) of Fordsville, KY.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 2016, at 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating.
Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by AMVETS post 117.
