Louis F. Archie

Louis F. Archie, 81, of Russellville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a Niagara Falls, New York native and son of the late Frank and Antoniette Pullera Archie.

Louis F. Archie is survived by his sister, Jean Costanzo of Niagara Fall, New York.

Corrine Marie Goodall, 90 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab in Morgantown, Ky. She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Cecil and Nola Howard McKinney and wife of the late James Goodall. She was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church and a homemaker. Preceded in death by 2 sons Daniel and Ercil Wayne Goodall; son in law Johnnie Annis; great grandchild Ashlee Vincent, and 4 brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Thelma Louise Hunt Beasley Shepherd, 79, resident of Dawson Dr., went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Adkison Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gavin Blaine and Hayden Michael Davis, twin sons of Jeremy and Jennifer King Davis, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Survivors include one brother -  Carson Spencer Davis of Morgantown, KY.; maternal grandparents Carl and Betty King of Morgantown, KY; paternal grandparents Larry and Monical Davis of Morgantown, KY; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.   All services are private with burial in the Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.


Earline Miller Sharp Gipson Seabolt

Earline Miller Sharp Gipson Seabolt, 84  left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father early in the morning on Sunday January 15, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Roundhill, Kentucky born July 31, 1927. Earline, truly loved her family, she especially cherished her role as a mother to her six children and grandmother to her grandchildren. In honor of her daughter Joline, Earline was very active with the Special Olympics as well as a devoted foster parent and supporter of the Salvation Army. She is the daughter of the late Carl and Agnes (Cardwell) Miller.

Charles T. “Charlie” Black, 81 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday,January 14, 2012 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky. He was a Cherryville, North Carolina native and son of the late Clarence David and Dorothy Faye Grigg Black. Mr. Black was a retired Butler County High School Band Director and Mayor of Morgantown, Ky. for 34 years. He was a member of Cassia Masonic Lodge #272 F&AM, Chairman of the Board at Kentuckiana Children’s Center, one of the founders of The Green River Catfish Festival, helped develop Morgantown City Park which later became Charles T.

Gracie Marie Felty Renfrow, age 89, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center in Morgantown, KY.

The Butler County native was the daughter of the late Aaron Lushas Felty and Ada Helen Dockery Felty. She was retired from GE where she worked as an Assembly Operator. She was also a member and Sunday School Teacher at Chapel Union Baptist Church.

Robert Lee Beasley

Robert Lee Beasley, age 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (January 7, 2012) at the Western Kentucky Veteran’s Center in Hanson, Kentucky.

He was born on June 27, 1926, in Butler Co., Kentucky, the son of the late Wayne and Nola Lindsey Beasley. He was a retired boilermaker and maintenance supervisor for the TVA, a member of Boilermaker Local Union # 40, the Caneyville Masonic Lodge # 631, an Army veteran of World War II, where he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star and was a member of the Caneyville Christian church.
