Virgie Bratcher, 86, of Caneyville, passed away Thursday, June 4th, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

She was born on June 21, 1928 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Merdia Blakely and Willie E (Sermon) Woosley. Virgie worked as a seamstress. She attended Small’s Grove Church.

Edith M. Whitaker, 80, of Millwood, passed away Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015 at her residence.

She was born on March 5th, 1935 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Emmitt Thomas and Lucy Mae (Phelps) Embry. Edith was a homemaker and loving mother. She enjoyed gardening and sewing in her spare time.

Garry Michael Bartrum

Garry Michael Bartrum, age 61, of Millwood, KY, passed away Wednesday, (June 3, 2015) at his home in Millwood, KY.

He was born on February 25, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Edison and Margaret Aikens Bartrum.

He was a former truck driver, who enjoyed collecting albums and selling items on Ebay. He attended Millwood Baptist Church.

Bobby Gene Brown

Bobby Gene Brown, 80 of Holland, Ohio formerly of Nashville, Tn. passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Luthern Village at Wolf Creek in Holland, Ohio. Bobby was born on March 28, 1935 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Alvin Shelley Brown and Annie Easter Flewallen Brown. He was a United States Army Veteran where he served as a cook and a retired salesman for Dillard's. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Denzil and Charles Brown and two sisters Doris Mitchell and Carol Brown.

James Robert "Bob" Maxfield

James Robert "Bob" Maxfield, 78, of Bowling Green, Ky., formerly of Rochester, Ky., passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Morgantown Care and Rehab. Bob was born November 7, 1936 in Muhlenberg County, Ky. to the late James Riley and Etta Estheline Cottrell Maxfield. He was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church and was a former truck driver and coal miner. He was a simple man who worked hard and loved his family. Other than his parents, Bob is preceded in death by two daughters, Dottie and Janice Lynn Maxfield and three Brothers, Randall H.

Ernest Board

Ernest Board, 73 a long term resident at Morgantown Care and Rehab passed away May 27th.  He was born in Grayson Co., KY. He was the son of Hobson and Ethel Lashley Board. Ernest was a member of Mt. Hebron Gospel Mission Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one sister Elaine B. Ashley and two nephews Brent and Phillip Linzy.
Visitation was held on May 29th at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson, Kentucky.  Funeral service was held on May 30th with Bro. Jimmy Douthitt officiating.  Interment was in the Clarkson Cemetery.

Roy E. Ragland

Roy E. Ragland, 87, of Bowling Green passed away May 25, 2015, at the Hospice House. The Butler County native was a graduate of South Warren High School and Eastern Kentucky University. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He retired from the Kentucky State Police after a thirty-two year career. Starting as a trooper, he later served as post commander of the Lebanon barracks and assistant post commander in Bowling Green. He was a faithful member of Greenwood Park Church of Christ where he formerly served as a deacon and an elder.

Michael John Georgieff, 49 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his residence. Michael was born June 5, 1965 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Louis Alex and Alice Fay Embry Georgieff who survives.

Lorann Cardwell Hardin

Lorann Cardwell Hardin age 50 of Morgantown, died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday at 2:58 pm at the Hospice Center of Bowling Green. She was born in Warren County to the late Eugene Cardwell and Patsy Sue Guess Finn who survives. She worked Production Line at Huish and for Houchens in the Deli. She was a member of the Old Log Church at Riverside. She was a graduate from the Univeristy of Phoenix with her Associate Degree in Elementary Education.
