Roland Eugene Baxter, 60, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky passed away at 5:45AM Sunday, April 23, 2017 at his home.

Roland was a member of the Laborers' International Union of North America Local #1214 in Paducah, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Michele Evans Baxter of Gilbertsville, KY; two daughters, April Dawn Baxter and Wendy Michele Baxter both of Benton, KY; three brothers, Ross Baxter of Morgantown, KY, Roy Baxter of Bowling Green, KY, and Ronnie Baxter of Owensboro, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Roy G. Baxter and Wanda Wade Baxter.

Services: A Celebration of Life for Roland will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Greg Baxter will officiate with military rites to follow the service at the funeral home.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
