Parker Wayne Boyd, 2 1/2 months old, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his residence.  Parker was born February 28, 2015  in Warren Co., Ky. to Roger Boyd and Morgan Brinkley.

Parker Wayne Boyd  is survived by his parents Roger Boyd and Morgan Brinkley both of Morgantown;  brothers Jordin and Bryson Boyd both of  Morgantown; Grandparents Ricky and Arttie Cook of Auburn, Ky.; Crystal and James Rigsby of Franklin, Ky.; Great- grandparents Debbie Deweese and David Henderson of Franklin, Ky.; Godmother Ashley Wickware of Franklin, Ky.

Rev. Gerald Alexander Mitton

Rev. Gerald Alexander Mitton, 87 of Jefferson, GA, went home to be with His Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 14, 2015. Rev. Mitton is better known to most as Preacher Mitton. He was born on September 17, 1927, in Wheaton Settlement near Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Frank and Miriam Mitton. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson, Georgia.

Terry "Nosey" Lynn Brown, Sr

Terry "Nosey" Lynn Brown, Sr., 63, of Central City, passed peacefully and serenely into the loving arms of those who preceded him on May 10, 2015. Mr. Brown was born June 26, 1951, in Butler County. He was a retired coal miner and graduate of Drakesboro High School. He was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will always be remembered for his gregarious nature and humor, love of UK basketball, golf, and all things sports, as well as his joy of a great card game.

Jimmy D. Amos

Jimmy D. Amos, 73 of Frenchburg, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at his residence. Jimmy was born December 28, 1941 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Estil and Ellin Keown Amos. He was a United States Army Veteran and a construction foreman. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Victoria Amos, two sons Robert and Gregory Amos and one sister Stella Amos.

Kathleen Rose Cockrell Ruff, 66 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, Ky. Kathleen was born September 19, 1948 in Princeton Indiana to the late Leroy F. and Elfrieda F. Dewig Mayer. She was a member of Brooklyn Missionary Baptist Church, member of grandparents raising grandchildren and a homemaker. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James Ray Cockrell Sr. and two brothers Roger and Ronald Mayer.

Narzlene Embry

Narzlene Embry, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (May 8, 2015) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.

She was born on November 21, 1937 in Butler County, KY, the daughter of the late Foy Ertest and Gauda Morris Embry.

She was a garment inspector for Kanes in Morgantown, KY and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, and good gospel singing. She was a member of Chapel Union Church.

She is survived by her nephew, Bryan Wilson, and his wife Venita; and her great-niece, Amanda Constant, and her husband Craig.

April Lynn Tinsley-Eden, 30 of Shelton, WA, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 in Olympia, Washington.  She is the daughter of Lana Jean Tinsley, of Bowling Green and the late Joseph Carrol Tinsley. The Warren County native was a homemaker.  She was member of First Baptist Church in Central City, KY. She loved her aunt, uncle and dog Thrumper. She loved to hang out with bunch of  friends and her best friends Brittney Alger and Lauren Williams both of North Carolina, Megan Dowling of TN, also Brandy Ramsey of Bowling Green, KY

Alene was born January 4, 1938 in Butler County Kentucky to the late George and Nora Coy and wife of the late Weldon Renfrow. She was a member of Crossroads Church of Christ and a homemaker. Alene is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Danny Renfrow and two brothers Condrad and Norman Coy.

Ralph Jackson Daugherty

Ralph Jackson Daugherty, 79, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green Ky. Ralph was born April 15, 1936 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Omer and Ida Mae Flener Daugherty. He was a trustee and member at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 20 years of service United States Air Force, teacher at the Bowling Green Vocational School and farmer. Ralph is preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Perry Daugherty; one son, Steven Thomas Daugherty and two brothers, Clifford and Glen Daugherty.
