Lona Lindsey Martin, 98, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Butler Co. on Sept. 21, 1918 to the late Cader and Della Colburn Lindsey. She was a homemaker, member of Leonard Oak Baptist Church, loved quilting, sewing, cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Rebus Martin and many brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Martin is survived by daughter Beverly Flener of Morgantown; sons Jr. Martin (Esther) and Larry Martin (Mickey) both of Morgantown; 7 grandchildren Lisa Morris (Steve) of Bowling Green, Tiffany Flener, Babe Martin (Becky), Brittiany Hudson (Dewayne), Chris Martin and Shasta Martin all of Morgantown; Cameron Martin (Kara) of Sioux Falls, SD; 11 great grandchildren and honorary grandchild Jordan West.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at
2:00 pm with Bro. Larry Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fannie Rone Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 6-8 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
