Roger Dale Hack age 65 of Morgantown KY went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 25, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family.  Roger was born to Roy E. and Gertrude Mudd Hack on December 27, 1951, in Caneyville, KY.  Roger served in the United States Army for 8 years during the 1970’s.

On January 26, 1986, he met his future wife Stella Marie Embry.  On January 26, 1987, their first child Trenton Dale Hack was born.  On Nov 2, 1987, Trenton went to be with the Lord.  On July 16, 1988, God blessed Roger and Marie with two beautiful healthy girls, Julie Marie and Jacinta Nicole.

Other than his parents and son, Roger was preceded in death by his five brothers, Amos, Larry, Hershell, Richard and Clifton Hack all of Caneyville KY.  He survived by his wife Stella Marie, two daughters Julie Beal(Daniel),  Jacinta Lockard (Gary), two sisters Opal Reynolds and Alma Bratcher(Roger) and several nieces and nephews.  Roger also left behind two special girls whom he loved like his own, Bridgette Dockery and Brooke Brown.  Roger became known has Pappy to Bridgette and Brooke’s little girls Lola Paige and Ada Marie.  Pappy’s girls were the light of his life.

Funeral services will be held at the Belmont General Baptist Church Sunday, May 28, 2017, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Gary Embry and Bro. David Bastin officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson  Cemetery in Caneyville, KY. where military rights will be presented by AM Vets #117. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday, May 27, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am - 11:30 am and from 12:30 pm until funeral time at 2:00 pm at Belmont General Baptist Church.
