Mitchell Neil Drake, 77 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Neil was born December 10, 1939, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late McKinley Oliver and Ivy Elizabeth Pendley Drake. He was a United States Army Veteran and a retired construction worker. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers Cecil, Robert, Philip, Oliver and Ruby Drake.

Mitchell Neil Drake is survived by his wife Rita Roberts Drake of Morgantown, Ky.; two sons Joseph Drake of Guthrie, Ky. and Mitchell Drake of Tooele, Utah; one brother Roger Drake (Patsy) of Indiana; one sister Louise Proctor of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 9:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
