Dale L. Skaggs

Dale L. Skaggs, 61 of Brandenburg, Kentucky passed away due to complications of a stroke on Monday November 6, 2017  at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Dale was born November 17, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ralph L. Skaggs and Helena Theiler Skaggs, who survive.

James "Jim" Elliott Sr.

James “Jim” Elliott Sr, 64, of Caneyville, passed away Friday, November 3rd, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on Saturday, January 3rd, 1953 in Louisville, the son of the late Floyd Hall and Mallie Marie (Brooks) Elliott. James attended the Gospel Light Missionary Baptist Church in Caneyville. He was an EMT in Butler County and also a retired truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and car racing.

Loretta Hartis, 67 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, at her residence. Loretta was born October 19, 1950, in Muhlenberg County Kentucky to the late Melvin and Nellie Yonts Young and wife of the late David "Jr" Hartis. She was a member of Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church, and she worked at Kellwood and retired from Redcap in Lewisburg, Kentucky. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother John Young.

Cecil Ray Jones, 49, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, at his residence. He was born October 18, 1968, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Paul Sr. and Polley E. Adkins Jones. Cecil was a farmer.  Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister - Anna Faye Matthews and four brothers - Dillard Harold, Earl, Richard and Joseph Jones.

Danny Field Cardwell

Danny Field Cardwell, 69, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tn.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Dec.15, 1947 to the late Chester and Fannie Brooks Cardwell.  He attended Pleasant Rock Full Gospel Church, was a drywall finisher and construction worker.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, and conversation.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Brenda Cardwell; son Kurt Cardwell; grandson Brian Keith Cardwell Jr. and brother Tilman Cardwell.

Mason Cooper Moore, ten weeks old passed away Friday, October 27, 2017, at his residence in Woodbury, Ky.. Mason Cooper is the son of Woody and Margaret Hammers Moore. He attended Belmont General Baptist Church and is preceded in death by one uncle Scott Moore; great maternal grandparents Louis and Nannie Bell Hammers and Shirley and Murzie Givens and great paternal grandparents Woodrow and Ruth Moore and Cooper and Virginia McCoy.

Gena Abell, 53 of Morgantown, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington KY. Gena was born December 5, 1963, in New Albany, Indiana to the late Paul Abell Jr and James "Jimmy" and Rita McKinney Hunt. She was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church but attended Cool Springs General Baptist Church, and she worked in several factories over the years.

Exie Faye Hoover, 87 of Knox, Indiana formerly of Rochester, Kentucky passed away October 19, 2017, at her daughter's residence. Exie was born March 10, 1930, in Rochester, Kentucky to the late Virgil and Lottie Wester Beliles and wife of the late Richard Watson Hoover. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one daughter Mildred Embry and two brothers Billy Joe and Glen Beliles.

Clemma Joyce was born October 14, 1937, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late William Rollie and Beulah Johnson Beliles. She was a member of Morgantown First Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one sister Ruby Dell Flener.
