Lillious (Phelps) Bryant, 93, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, December 13th, 2015 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. 

She was born on Saturday, April 22nd, 1922 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Sam and Bessie (Embry) Phelps. Lillious was a member of the Christian Home Church of Christ and a house wife.   

Glendon Wayne Greathouse, 68 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday December 13, 2015 at his residence. Wayne was born on Tuesday July 8, 1947 in Ohio County Kentucky to the late Harry G. and Floye Crowe Greathouse. He was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church and a  United States Army National Guard Veteran. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Danny Greathouse.

Kathleen Mae Evans, 78 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday December 12, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Kathleen was born June 16, 1937 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Carl and Louie Abner Evans. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one son Jerry Lee Evans and two brothers Deloide and J C Evans.

Freda Mae Burris, 74 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday December 8, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Freda was born November 9, 1941 in Butler County Kentucky to the late James C. Phelps and Elizabeth Bingham Carroll. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Beaver Dam, Ky. and retired from Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one sister Eva Givens and two brothers Johnney Edward Carroll and Barron Carroll.

Loretta Francis Huff  Embry, 57 of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2015 at her residence.  She was born in Brownsville, Ky. on October 26, 1958 to the late Roby Huff and Edna Lindsey.  Mrs. Embry was a homemaker, member of House of Prayer an avid traffic watcher. She loved her grandchildren, fishing and her dog Sassy Louise. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Skyler Shepherd and Jayden Hawkins, sisters Lynn Haynes, Vergie Sailing and niece Faye Haynes.

Peggy Cardwell Sisk, 68 of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green, Ky. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on September 28, 1947 to Eldon and Leodria Hoops Cardwell. Peggy was a Kennel Tech at Heritage Animal Hospital and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved animals, crossword puzzles and enjoyed playing jeopardy. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Carol Spurlock and Kathy Cardwell; brothers Keith and Jimmy Cardwell.

Cary Elder, 63, of Horse Branch, passed away Saturday, December 5th, 2015 at his residence. 

He was born on Sunday, December 23rd, 1951 in Ohio County, the son of Russell and Eva (Embry) Elder. Cary was a member at Mt Olive General Baptist Church. He also enjoyed fishing.   

Cary is survived by his brother, Gary Elder of Caneyville; three aunts, Peggy Beasley, Betty Hayes and Mary Jo Corley all of Horse Branch; one uncle, Buddy Embry also of Horse Branch and several cousins. He preceded in death by his parents.

Charles Olson Cook, 86 of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Sunda,y December 6, 2015 at his residence. Charles was born October 21, 1929 in Arnold, Ky. in Ohio County to the late Ethyl and Eunice Daugherty Cook and husband of the late Sue James Cook. He was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ and a retired carpenter from Hartz Construction. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by two sons Roger and Phillip Cook, one brother Junior Cook and one sister Mary Daugherty.

Nell Shelton Harrison, 86 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday December 5, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Nell was born July 30, 1929 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Floyd and Lillian Grayson Shelton and wife of the late Herold John Harrison. She was a member of Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church, former owner of Harrison Grocery, postal clerk, homemaker and known as "Nanny" to many.

Tyler Jordan Beach, 23, of  Bowling Green, Ky., passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  He was born in Indianapolis, In. on August18, 1992 to the late Jeffery Brian Beach and Rebecca Mae Phelps Beach who survives.  Tyler was a truck driver and was a member of Morgantown Community Church.  He loved to D.J., also enjoyed gaming, computers, cars and music.  He was preceded in death by his father Jeffery Beach.
