Shelby Jean Morgan, 77 of Russellville, Kentucky died on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at her residence.

She was born Tuesday, March 15, 1938 in Huntsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elmer Drake and the late Nancy Peay Drake. She was the wife of David Morgan, who survives.

She was a cook for Lewisburg Elementary School and a member of First General Baptist Church.

Dorothy Caudill, 89, of  Franklin, Ky., passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Signature Healthcare in Bowling Green, Ky.  She was born in Morgantown, Ky. on June 16, 1926 to the late Clido and Eva Bingham Pendley.  She spent her life serving others, caring for her family, always counseling us to do better.  She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, planting flowers and sewing.  She was a great provider to her family and will be so very missed.
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Owen Caudill; brother, Glen Pendley and sister, Omie Kimmel.
 

Gerald Ray Howton, 63, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Suburban Hospital. Born in Central City.  He worked at Louisville Cartage Company, where he was a truck driver for 22 years.  He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years , Geneva JoAnn (Dennison) Howton, son Scott A. Howton (Raydean), daughters Mary Ann Bingham (Chris) and Penny Lynn Dean (Bryan); his  mother Willodean Givens, brother Mike Howton, sister Paula Howton, four grandchildren - Dusten Howton, Paige Bingham, Crystal Dean and Brittany Bingham; five  great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren.

Loveina Faye West, 79 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Loveina was born on Sunday June 7, 1936 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Samuel and Ruthie Jones Cardwell and wife of the late James Edward West. She was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church where she attended WMS, previous volunteer as a election officer at the Leonard Oak precinct for several years and retired from Kanes Manufacturing, .

Doyle Willis Proctor, 79, of  Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his residence.  He was born in Huntsville, Kentucky on October 16, 1936 to the late Palastine and Doxie Abbott Proctor.   He was of the Pentecostal-Apostolic faith.  He enjoyed reading his Bible and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He loved gardening and being a devoted husband for 60 years.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

William "Bud" Phelps, 72, of  Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 in Bowling Green, Kentucky at the Greenview Regional Hospital.  He was born in Ohio Co., Kentucky on May 5, 1943 to the late Gobel Phelps and Bulah Garner Phelps.   He was a member of Pleasant Rock Full Gospel Church. Bud volunteered at Head Start in Butler County and was voted "Volunteer of the Year."  He worked for over 30 years as a Sawyer and spent the remainder of his time loving his grandbabies and playing the Wii.

Alice Fay Basham, 71 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday December 17, 2015 at her residence. Alice was born on April 13, 1944 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Albert Renfrow and Lottie Rose Puckett. She was a homemaker and preceded in death by two daughters Glenda Berkley and Elana Basham and several brothers and sisters.
Alice Fay Basham is survived by one daughter Paula Crousore of Morgantown, Ky.; one son Roger Clark of Bowling Green, Ky. ; one sister Elaine Downs of Washington DC; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Doris Marie Flynn Brown, 47, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at her residence.  She was born in Clarksville, In. on May 5, 1968 to the late Thomas Flynn Sr. and Patricia Spade Elmore who survives.  Doris was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing with her first grandchild and was an avid UK basketball fan.  She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Douglas Flynn.

Robbie Thomas Cox, 35, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on June 26, 1980 to Charles E. Jr. and Margie Ferguson Cox.   He was a member of Barnetts Lick Missionary Baptist Church, was a auto body mechanic and enjoyed working on anything with a motor. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles E. Cox, Sr. and Arthur and Mildred Ferguson.

Lillious (Phelps) Bryant, 93, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, December 13th, 2015 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. 

She was born on Saturday, April 22nd, 1922 in Butler County, the daughter of the late Sam and Bessie (Embry) Phelps. Lillious was a member of the Christian Home Church of Christ and a house wife.
