Nora Ellen Phelps, 84 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 20, 2017, at her residence. Nora was born June 25, 1933, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late James G. and Gradie Elizabeth Johnson Phelps and wife of the late R C Phelps. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Kellwood.

Walter Junior Hack, 85 of Caneyville, passed away Friday, November 17th, 2017 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville.
He was born on Saturday, July 23rd, 1932 in Round Hill, the son of the late James W and Ruby Jane (Hudson) Hack. He attended the Old Decker Church. Junior also loved old cars.

Gwendolyn Deweese Beck, 97, of  Bowling Green, Ky., passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.  She was born in Ohio Co., Ky. on June 8, 1920 to the late Olen and Evalyn Warren Deweese.  Mrs. Beck was a member of Auburn Church of Christ and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking for her family and making Christmas candy.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Oran Beck and brother Wilmuth Deweese.

Ira Lafe “Mickey” Casey

Ira Lafe “Mickey” Casey, 64 of Hartford, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home. He was born February 1, 1953 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to the late George Love and Elsie Pearl Romans Casey. Mickey was a member of East Hartford Baptist Church, was a self-employed antique dealer and was a United States Army Veteran.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raydon C. Casey and George Junior Casey and two sisters, Thelma Daugherty and Shirley Jane Casey.

Euvie Ogles Hudnall, 88, of  Russellville, Ky., passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Creekwood Nursing Home in Russellville, Ky.,  She was born in Logan Co., Ky., on October 28, 1929, to the late Hershel Ogles and Minnie Rainwaters Ogles.  Ms. Hudnall was a  Seamstress at CBS Sewing Factory. She loved to play cards and bingo.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dewey Hudnall, 2 sisters; Louise Duncan and Mary Jenkins.

Wavie M. Fishburn

Wavie M. Fishburn, 97, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.  She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on August 30, 1920 to the late Isom and Corda Ann Henderson, Ms. Fishburn was a Homemaker and Seamstress. She loved to sew, quilt and cook.  Ms. Fishburn  was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church for more than 80 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnel Fishburn, three brothers Orville, Justus and George Henderson; two sisters Goren Phelps and Norma Young.

Michael Otto Rone, 66 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, at his residence. Mike was born March 15, 1951, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Otto T. Rone and Doris E. Embry Rone who survives. He was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ, The Round Table Club at Kuntry Kitchen and the owner of Morgantown Freight Inc.

John William “Dub” Green, 85, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday, November 10, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born September 4, 1932 at Union Hill, Kentucky in Ohio County to the late William Addison Green and Bunia Beatrice Felty Green. Mr. Green retired from Peabody Coal Company where he worked at Ken Underground Mine. He served in the United States Army, 504th AAA Gun Battalion Anti-Aircraft Artillery, during the Korean War. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved gardening and camping. Mr.

Drewey Daymond Embry, 84 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Thursday November 9, 2017 at his residence. Daymond was born September 8, 1933 in Lee, Kentucky in Butler County to the late Hobert and Ada Turner Embry and husband of the late Shirley Nash Embry. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired from the Fruhaul Company in Louisville, Kentucky. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by one sister Velarine Woosley and one brother Denzil Embry.

Marzola Ann House Nash, 53, of  Morgantown, Ky., passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  She was born in Warren Co., Ky. on Dec.13, 1963 to the late L. D. House and Beatrice Childress Casey who survives.  She was a homemaker, attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, formerly worked at Kellwood and Sumitomo, volunteered at the  Butler Co. Animal Shelter, enjoyed knitting and shopping.  She was preceded in death by her father L.D. House and step-mother Golda House; brothers Danny and James Delmar House; son Cody Ryan Nash.
