Danny Field Cardwell, 69, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Dec.15, 1947 to the late Chester and Fannie Brooks Cardwell. He attended Pleasant Rock Full Gospel Church, was a drywall finisher and construction worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, and conversation. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Brenda Cardwell; son Kurt Cardwell; grandson Brian Keith Cardwell Jr. and brother Tilman Cardwell.

Mr. Cardwell is survived by his children Dana F. Cardwell Jr. (Tammy) of Roundhill, Penny Milam (Michael), Brian Keith Cardwell (Michelle) and Josh Cardwell (Jessica) all of Morgantown; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Cardwell and Nora Raymer both of Morgantown; brothers Sam Cardwell (Rita) and Gary Cardwell (Kay) both of Morgantown; longtime companion Marie Anderson of Morgantown.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov.4, 2017 at 1 pm with Sister Leona Clark officiating.

Burial will follow in the Youngtown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov.4, 2017 from 10 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home, Morgantown, Ky.
