Cecil Ray Jones, 49, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, at his residence. He was born October 18, 1968, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Paul Sr. and Polley E. Adkins Jones. Cecil was a farmer. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister - Anna Faye Matthews and four brothers - Dillard Harold, Earl, Richard and Joseph Jones.

Cecil Ray Jones is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Ann Simmons Jones; two daughters - Jessica Kirby and husband Larry; and Cecial Short and husband Billy; 6 grandchildren; two sisters - Avil Cardwell and husband Jim; and Bonnie Mae Belcher; three brothers - Darrell Wayne Jones and wife Mary Ruth; Paul Jones and wife Josephine; and Allen Jones.

Graveside visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 11:0 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Payton Phelps Cemetery. Burial will be in the Payton Phelps Cemetery.
