Kenneth Moore

Kenneth Moore, 90, of  Morgantown, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky. to the late Harold and Gertrude Abney Moore.  He was a WWII Army Veteran, attended Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co.  Kenneth enjoyed working around the house.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vida Moore, sister Erdine Moore, brothers Thomas, Thurman and Vernon "Big Jim" Moore.

Margaret Hatfield Reneer

Margaret Hatfield Reneer, 80, of  Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016, at her residence. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. on July 25, 1936, to the late John and Stacie McIntosh Hatfield.  She was a member of  Woodbury Baptist Church, retired after working  38 years at G.E.  Margaret enjoyed playing the organ and piano, listening to gospel and country music.

Paul Wayne DePaepe, 56 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday October 19, 2016 at his residence. Paul was born October 14, 1960 in Champaign, Illinois to Paul R. DePaepe who survies and the late Evaline Grace Woosley Quine. He was a United States Army Veteran and preceded in death by his mother and two brothers Bural and Chuck.

Joe Don Patton, 60, of Sweeden, KY, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his residence in Sweeden, KY. The Edmonson County native was born December 5, 1955 to late Joe D. Patton Sr. and Janell Farris Patton who survives. He was married to Sherry Trulock Patton who survives.

Don was a carpenter and owner of Patton Construction. He was a member and deacon at Jetson Community Church and was also a member of the Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM.

James Randall Farris

James Randall Farris age 77 of Roundhill, KY, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 13 at 3:05 pm at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Leitchfield to the late Daniel and Dora Ausbon Farris. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline McCormick, Kathleen Williams and Eveline Childress. Brothers, Eval, David, and Paul Farris. He was retired from the Department of Agriculture and a retired farmer. He attended Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ. A Navy Veteran. He was a longtime Board member of the Butler County Farm Bureau and served as past president.

Billy Gene Durbin, 68 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, October 14, 2016, at his residence. Billy was born August 10, 1948, in Ohio County Kentucky to the late Raymond and Violet Aldridge Durbin. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of Mt Olivet Missionary Baptist Church and he retired from Weyerhaeuser after 30 years. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two infant sisters and four brothers Jr., Charlie, Everett and Stevie Durbin.

Shirrell Faith Johnson, 72, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born December 1, 1943 in Hartford, Kentucky to the late Park Daugherty and Mable Keown Daugherty. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Weldon Daugherty and Auburn “Buster” Daugherty.
