James Ray Cockrell Jr, 53, of Hartford, KY. was born May 30th, 1965, and passed away November 22nd, 2018 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

James was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Allen Renfrow, Father James Ray Cockrell Sr., and grandson Braiden James Cockrell.

He is survived by his children Dixon Cockrell, Alisha Martinez (Jesus), James Cockrell III, Megan Lindsey, Kionna Hayse (Jerry), Tessla Cockrell, and Lenis Cowles.

His siblings Lucy Carden (David), Michael Cockrell (Gracie), Tami Phelps (Chris), George Cravens (Terri), and Brenda Rice (Wayne).

His Grandchildren Shyanna Trejo, Olivia Cockrell, Ricardo Roblero, Galeno Roblero, Mirella Gomez, Araseli Martinez, Mila Martinez, Parker Cockrell, Justin Cockrell, Beau Cockrell, Keria Lindsey, Rider Hayse, Melissa Hayse, and Skylee Hayse.

His wife (seperated) Carman Estes Cockrell. Several Niece's and Nephew's and Aunts and Uncles.

James loved spending his time fishing and most of his days racing he loved the track at Windy Hollow, Soggy Bottom (Cedar Ridge) and McHenry. James was funny and always had a way to make you smile. He will be forever missed.

A Memorial will follow at a later date, James will be buried next to his father in Brooklyn Cemetery in Morgantown, Kentucky.Cecil Funeral Home were in charges of services.
