Juanita Jewell Hatcher, 73, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on  January 31, 1945 to the late Less and Beulah Fleming Smith.  Juanita worked at Morgantown Care and Rehab Center and as a home health aide. She loved to garden and work crossword puzzles.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Nick Smith and sister Louise Smith.

Mable J. Warren, 101, of Owensboro, passed away January 21, 2019 at Miller's Merry Manor in Rockport, IN. She was born November 17, 1917 in Butler County to the late Efren and Dewy Mitchell Joiner. Mable enjoyed being outside and working with her flowers and plants, sometimes even nursing them back to good health.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Haward Warren; a son, John Warren; a sister, Opal Walton; and two brothers, Rethal and Bill Joiner.

Patricia Sue Cardwell, 57, of Horse Branch passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at the home of her mother in Rosine. She was born September 15, 1961 to Janice Daugherty. Sue was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Baizetown. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Antney and Livona Daugherty and her father Bernard Whitehouse.

Dolores Jennings Cook, 95 of  Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Dolores was born July 14, 1923 in Henderson County, Kentucky to the late Walter and America Hall Burden and wife of the late Hayden Jennings and Troy Cook. She was a member of Big Muddy Missionary Baptist Church and a retired mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.

Dorothy Lee Hudson, 81 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday January 23, 2019 at her residence. Dorothy was born on Wednesday June 2, 1937 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Rev. Wiley B. and Ada Embry Woodcock and wife of the late Jesse J. Hudson. She was a member of Old Decker General Baptist Church and retired from Lakeview Nursing Home. Dorothy loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, she loved her flowers and being a caregiver.

Peggy Jean  Coons, 63, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.  She was born in Butler Co. on Nov. 15, 1955 to the late Mike Johnson and Gladys Johnson who survives. She loved to watch T.V. and be with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Mike Johnson; husband John Coons; sister Patsy White; brothers Jimmy, Darrell, Timmy and Duwayne Johnson.

Infant Mary Jeannie Johnson Embry of Rockfield KY., passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. She is survived by her parents Joshua Embry and Rita Johnson of Rockfield, KY; brothers and sisters Samantha Landreth of North Carolina, Latisha Johnson of Jetson, KY, Brian Keith Phelps Jr of Jetson, KY, Natasha Johnson of Jetson, KY, Hunter Brinkley and Elizabeth Binkley of Bowling Green, KY; maternal grandparents Wendell and Sheila Johnson of Rockfield, KY; paternal grandfather Justin Embry of Roundhill, KY and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nokie Pearl West, 95 of Morgantown, KY passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Nokie was born August 21, 1923 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Luchen and Mabel Hawk Keown and wife of the late Gettie West. She was of the Apostolic faith and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, spending time with her family and fishing with her grandchildren. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one grandson Jeffrey West; one brother Jimmy Keown; four sisters Lois Bratcher, Dorothy Pendley, Glenadel Keown and Norma Jean Butler.

Charles Matthew White, 37 of Morgantown, KY passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Matthew was born August 26, 1981 in Grayson County, KY to Charles Dale and Janice Denneese Embry White. He was a member of White Ridge Church and loved having cookout and being with family. Matthew loved his mamaw and loved all his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one daughter Alison White; mamaw and papaw Harrison and Marie White; papaw Cecil Embry and uncle Tony Embry.
