Glenn Ray Sigler

Glenn Ray Sigler, 42, of  Linton, In. passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Hartford, Ky. on February 10, 1974 to the late Glenn Shepard and Donna Rae Adkins who survives.   He was preceded in death by his father and a niece.
Mr. Sigler is survived by his mother Donna Adkins; two brothers Perry and Glenn Shepard; two sisters Marissa Smith and Angela Fernandez.

Novella Evans

Novella Kate Evans, 79, of Quality, Kentucky, died Monday, December 12 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.  She was born on December 2, 1937, in Butler County, Kentucky to Harvey Lee and Mary Kate (Pendley) Lee.  Novella and husband Deyoide Evans, who survives, were married August 11, 1956, and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  She was retired after having worked several years at Kellwood and Casco.  Novella was a member of New Gasper Baptist Church.

Shelton A. Embry

Shelton A. Embry, 77, of Owensboro passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born in Butler County, KY, he had retired as a heavy equipment operator for Owensboro Municipal Utilities after 32 years. Mr. Embry was of the Baptist faith. He loved his wife and valued the time he spent with his family, especially playing with the grandkids, fishing at the lake, and motorcycle trips with his friends. Although the last years of life had their miseries, his smile and humor could brighten up a room as his eyes sparkled with life.

Rebecca Parker, 79 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Rebecca was born March 12, 1937 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Curtis and Ora Tomes Woosley. She attended Free Union General Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bradley E. Parker.

She was born Thursday, March 19, 1931,  the daughter of the late Ralph Tyree and the late Edith Warren  Tyree. She was the wife of the late Russell Tynes, Sr..

She was a homemaker and former employee of Caldwell Lace and Leather in Auburn, KY

Marie L. Snodgrass, 92, of LeRoy, IL, passed away at 2:19 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Private graveside services will be held at Hopewell Cemetery in Downs, IL.   Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Cancer Center, 407 E. Vernon Avenue, Normal, IL 61761.

Alice Fay Shields Hawkins

Alice Fay Shields Hawkins, 71 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, December 9, 2016, at her residence. Alice was born July 6, 1945, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Robert Revel and Joe Nell Fields Shields. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and retired as a medical assistant and X-ray tech. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one sister Reva Shields.

Armando Jose Quibilan, 70 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at the Twin Rivers Nursing & Rehab Center in Owensboro, Ky. Armando was born April 16, 1946, in the Republic of Nicaragua to the late Primitivo and Ermicenda Baquedano Quibilan. He attended Monticello Missionary Baptist Church and loved the farm life and raising chickens.
Armando Jose Quibilan is survived by his wife Mirian Quibilan of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter Myrian Quibilan of Morgantown, Ky.; one son Marco Aurelio Banquedano of Nicaragua; 3 brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Thumper Ronald Thurman

Thumper Ronald Thurman, 52, of  Morgantown, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Chattanooga, Tn.  He loved cooking, motorcycles and went the extra mile to serve and wait on people.

Mr. Thurman is survived by sons Cody and Logan Thurman of Morgantown and his domestic partner Penny Stahler of Morgantown.
