Cordia Mae House Fields, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Cordia was born September 18, 1942, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Garfield and Mary Johnson House and wife of the late Carl Fields. She was preceded in death by one son William Lane Fields; brother Danny Ray Hammers, and 2 sisters Imogene Hammons and Anna Mae House.

Joe Anderson

Joe Anderson, 93 of Quality, Kentucky died on Friday, January 25, 2013, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Kentucky.

He was born September 25, 1919, the son of the late Christopher Clellan Anderson and the late Eula Jane Givens.

He was the husband of the late Clarcie Cook Anderson. Joe was the owner and operator of Anderson Grocery Store. He was also a school bus driver and substitute mail carrier. He was a Veteran of World War II and a member of Quality Baptist Church.

David Beliles

David Beliles, 56, of Morgantown Kentucky, entered into eternal rest at 1:12 pm Thursday, January 24, 2013, after spending 22 days with family at his bedside while he passed away from a brief battle with cancer. David was born in Butler County on May 31, 1956, to the late Orville and Laura West Beliles and was also preceeded in death by  sister Barbara Beliles Hunt and  brother Randell Beliles.
He worked for many years in construction and plumbing. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, UK basketball,and his yorkie, Cali.

Christine Whitaker, 80, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January  24, 2013, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.  Mrs. Whitaker was born February 4, 1932, in Butler County to the late Ezra and Blanche Hawks Cardwell.  She was a member of Glendale Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.  She was a retired toll booth attendant in Bowling Green for 26 yrs.

Donnie Lee Deel, 56  of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky. Mr. Deel was born August 25, 1956 in Warren County, to the late Lonnie M. and Dorothy M. Gregory Deel.  He was a truck driver for First Class Trucking.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Marie Christmas, 100 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She was born Sunday, September 22, 1912 in South Hill, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Oscar Carroll and the late Nellie Knight Carroll. She was the wife of the late Cephus Christmas.

She was a homemaker and a member of Union Chapel General Baptist Church.

Surviving are 2 nephews; Wally Carroll and Wilbur Carroll, both of Rochester, KY, and 1 niece; Tereasa Johnson of Rochester, KY.

Bonnie S. Goodman

Bonnie S. Goodman, 85, of Caneyville, passed away Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at the Spring View Health & Rehab in Leitchfield.   

She was born on December 5, 1927 in Butler County, the daughter of William McKinley and Myrtle (Ingram) Swift. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Bonnie was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Leitchfield.

Gerald Wayne Dukes

Gerald Wayne Dukes, 70, of Beechmont, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2:40PM at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mr. Dukes was born September 12, 1942. He was a minister and a member of Mt. Olivet Church in Butler County. Mr. Dukes was a Kentucky Colonel, and loved to fish, hunt, and golf. He worked in the coal mines at Amax Coal, and pastored several churches. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Colin Shourds; brother Billy Dukes; parents Kermit and Margie Dukes; and a nephew, Sonny Dukes.

Frances was born December 9, 1913, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Shelby Clayton and Laura Frances Turner Campfield. She was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by husbands James A. Lindsey and Lafe Renfrow; 2 daughters Mayzelle Lindsey and Ruth Burden; infant son and 2 brothers and 1 sister. Mildred Juanita Bradley Hammers Parker, 90 of Rochester, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Hospice Center of Bowling Green, Ky. Mildred was born June 5, 1922 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Otis and Ora Hope Bradley and wife of the late Alvin Hammers and Prentice Arnold. She was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Kellwood Company. She was preceded in death by one daughter Gail Johnson, 3 sisters and one brother.
