Francis Cox Henderson, 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011, at her residence.

She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Otis and Geneva Cardwell Cox. She was a member of Barnett’s Lick Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son Ronnie Henderson and one son in law Danny Cook.
Francis Cox Henderson is survived by her husband Winzel B. Henderson of Morgantown, Ky; 2 daughters Connie Johnson of Morgantown, Ky and Kathy Lightfoot and husband Keith of Bowling Green, Ky; son Jody Henderson and wife Renee of Morgantown, Ky; 3 granddaughters Andrea Johnson and husband Mike of Morgantown, Ky, Stephanie Lightfoot of Bowling Green, Ky and Richelle Henderson of Morgantown, Ky; 2 grandsons Alex Johnson of Morgantown, Ky and Dustin Lightfoot of Bowling Green, Ky; 2 great grandchildren Cayden Crawford and Christian Johnson; 2 sisters Janice Fields and husband Donald of Morgantown, Ky and Sue Cardwell and husband Dalton of Morgantown, Ky and one brother Otis Wayne Cox of Morgantown, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, September 1, 2011, at the Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Chad Bewley and Bro. George Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the W&F Henderson Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am – 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 and Thursday from 8:00am til funeral time at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
