Janice Fay Ewing White, 45 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013, at her residence. Janice was born June 10, 1968 in Logan County, Kentucky to James A. and Helen F. Womack Ewing who survives. She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and employeed at Casco in Morgantown, Ky. She was preceded in death by grandfather Lewis Womack and grandparents Arvin and Edna Ewing.

Rev. J.R. Craig age 85 of Elkton, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at his residence of natural causes.  Services will be Sunday July 28, 2013 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton,KY with Rev. Donnie Wilkins and Rev. Roger Skipworth officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Todd County.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday July 27, 2013 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton,KY

Dewey Lee Shepherd, 71, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his residence. Dewey was born August 18, 1941 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Troy and Margery Cox Shepherd. He was retired from Scott & Murphy in Bowling Green, KY.

Jimmie Boyd Phelps, 57,  of Scottsville, Ky. passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Phelps was born October 22, 1955 in Butler County, to the late Clarance Edward Phelps and Dorothy Lee Douglas Phelps.  He was a truck driver for Double P. Trucking and was a member of New Hope Full Gospel Church. Mr. Phelps was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Brenda White and Doris Lou Phelps and Father In-Law Brice Turner

Opal Jerline Adkins, 88 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Opal was born January 25, 1925, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late James Tomes and Laura Phelps Lindsey and wife of the late James Thurman Adkins.

Martha Comer Colson, 83, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Greenview Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late OE Comer, Sr., and Lillian Comer.  Besides her love for her husband and family, Martha loved her country, her church and served them faithfully.  She was a founding member of West End Church of Christ, Volunteered at Greenview Hospital, a member of Barren River Volunteer Fire Department, Rockfield & Richardsville Homemakers Club and a past Warren County Election Officer.  

Catherine Carolyn DeWeese, 93, of Morgantown, Kentucky went to her eternal reward on July 20, 2013, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.  She was born in Cairo, Illinois on February 20, 1921, to the late Ray E. Paul DeWeese, a native of Butler County, KY and Catherine Mary Coen DeWeese of Sheffield, England. Most of her life was spent in northern Illinois where she followed a business career and engaged in volunteerism during her leisure.

Lonnard Daniel Hardin, Sr., age76, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at his residence.  Mr. Hardin was born Jan. 24, 1937 in Roundhill, Ky., to the late Aurther Stanley and Dessie Blanton Hardin.  He attended Hardshell Baptist, he was a roofer and a Kentucky Colonel who enjoyed fishing, hunting and horseshoes.  He was in the Army where he served as a cook.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Carolyn Sue Blaine Wendle, age  69,  of Cromwell, Ky., passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013, at her residence in Cromwell, Ky. Mrs. Wendle was born March 25, 1944, in Davenport Ky. to the late Cleburne and Susie McPherson Blaine.  She was an independent contractor for Home Health Care and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, National Rifle Association, International Police Congress and the American Legion.  She was a politician who loved to participate in charity work for St.

Gladys J. (Papenmeier) Snodgrass, 82, of Wadesville, Indiana passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus.

Mrs. Snodgrass had been employed at Swift and Company.  She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ-Lippe.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Raleigh Snodgrass.
