Mickey Robert Tanner, 50, of Johnson City, Tennessee died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at his residence. He was a floor covering installer. He was saved and baptized at Hillvue Heights on April of 2001, every year there after he celebrated his born again birthday.

He is the son of Norman Donald Tanner and Juanita Romans Tanner.

Survivors include: his parents, son, Tyler Reeder of Morgantown, sister Shelia Marie Tanner of Woodburn, KY, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations should go to Hillvue Heights Church, 3219 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101

Services will be private and are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Caney Fork Cemetery, in Quality, KY.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Bradley and Effie Laura Tanner, and Ray and Viola Romans.
