Bonnie S. Goodman

Bonnie S. Goodman, 85, of Caneyville, passed away Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at the Spring View Health & Rehab in Leitchfield.   

She was born on December 5, 1927 in Butler County, the daughter of William McKinley and Myrtle (Ingram) Swift. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Bonnie was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Leitchfield.

Gerald Wayne Dukes

Gerald Wayne Dukes, 70, of Beechmont, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at 2:40PM at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mr. Dukes was born September 12, 1942. He was a minister and a member of Mt. Olivet Church in Butler County. Mr. Dukes was a Kentucky Colonel, and loved to fish, hunt, and golf. He worked in the coal mines at Amax Coal, and pastored several churches. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Colin Shourds; brother Billy Dukes; parents Kermit and Margie Dukes; and a nephew, Sonny Dukes.

Frances A. Lindsey Renfrow, 99 of Alvaton, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, at her residence. Frances was born December 9, 1913, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Shelby Clayton and Laura Frances Turner Campfield. She was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by husbands James A. Lindsey and Lafe Renfrow; 2 daughters Mayzelle Lindsey and Ruth Burden; infant son and 2 brothers and 1 sister. Mildred Juanita Bradley Hammers Parker

Mildred Juanita Bradley Hammers Parker, 90 of Rochester, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Hospice Center of Bowling Green, Ky. Mildred was born June 5, 1922 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Otis and Ora Hope Bradley and wife of the late Alvin Hammers and Prentice Arnold. She was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Kellwood Company. She was preceded in death by one daughter Gail Johnson, 3 sisters and one brother.

Rex Davison

Rex Denton Davison, 74, of  Louisville, KY passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. 

He was born December 02, 1938 in Ohio County, KY, the son of Birch F. Davison and Edna Mahurin Davison. He was a former Kentucky State Police Trooper.  Rex was also a Mason and a man of faith.

Virginia Faye Hunt McKinney, 73  of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Medical Center Hospital in Bowling Green. Virginia Faye was born July 8, 1939 in Butler County to the late Ruben and Virgie Hunt.  She was preceded in death by her parents,  and  husband Carlis McKinney, one daughter Linda McKinney, one son Wayne McKinney, several brothers and sisters.

Stella Mae Dockery

Stella Mae Dockery, 57, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. She was born May 5, 1955 in Jefferson Co, KY to the late Edward Filback and Louise Evans Filback Young. She was a member of Longview General Baptist Church near Beaver Dam and a retired line leader at Nestaway.

Beside her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Helbert Dockery and a sister, Libby Felty.

Richard Leon Chapman

Mr. Richard Leon Chapman, 83, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died Monday, January 13, 2013 at his residence. The Butler County native was born January 25, 1929 to the late Arthur Blaine Chapman and Maude Cardwell Chapman. Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by his wife Ann Maxey Chapman and a nephew Byron Lee Chapman.

Mr. Chapman was a 1946 graduate of Butler County High School and was a farmer. He was a member of Rolling Springs United Methodist Church, Little Muddy Rural Development, Master Conservationist of Warren County, and served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Wendell G. Wilson Sr. 68 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro, Ky. Wendell was born August 29, 1944, in Warren County to the late Edward and Nealie Whalen Wilson. He was preceded in death by one son Wendell G. Wilson Jr., 1 sister, and 4 brothers.
Wendell G. Wilson Sr. is survived by his wife Rosemary Bacanskas Wilson; 5 daughters Lisa Goad, Teresa Logsdon, Cindy Seale, Amanda Divine and Kimetha Wilson; son Adrian Wilson; sister Judy Rose; 4 brothers Frank, Bobby Joe, Maurice and William Wilson.

Ruth Arlene Beliles, 66 of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at her residence. Ruth was born October 10, 1946 in Winamac, Indiana, to the late Paul Katschke and Dorothy Lizenby Katschke who survives. She is preceded in death by one son Robert James Denton and one grandson Jeffery Hammers; 3 sisters Judy Honard, Margaret Katschke and Janet Fisher and one brother Chuck Hartman.
