Joseph Earl Dewees age 66 of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Hosparus inpatient care center in Louisville Ky., Joseph was born on March 9, 1948 in Louisville Ky. to the late Ralph and Georgetta Dewees. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, a retired carpet installer, and was of the Catholic faith. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sons Jeffrey and Neil Miller and 1 great grandson Michael Miller.

Levi Barrow, 89 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Levi was born on Saturday, May 16, 1925 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late L.C. and Stella Hatcher Barrow. He was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ, World War II Army Veteran, life long farmer, school bus driver for the Butler County Board of Education for 13 plus years and worked at the Green River Feed Mill for 40 plus years. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one grandson Larry Ward and one son in-law Ronald Tines.

Cecil J. Embry, 85, of Butler County, passed away Friday, November 28th, 2014 at his residence. 

He was born on July 7th, 1929 in Butler County. He was the son of the late Vannie and Mary (Brooks) Embry. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and later received a Purple Heart for his service.  Cecil was a member of the American Legion Post 81 in Leitchfield. He was the 2013 Veteran of the Year in Butler County.  He was also an avid gardener.

 William G. Dobbs, 82, of Owensboro, died November 28, 2014. He was born August 12, 1932 in Drakesboro, Kentucky to the late William Joseph and Lettie Mae (Coin) Dobbs. Bill graduated from Drakesboro High School and Western Kentucky Teachers College (WKU). 

He was a veteran of the US Army. 

Barbara Hunt Flener, 67, of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at her residence. Barbara was born on Thursday, January 16, 1947 in Butler County, Kentucky to William Logan Hunt and the late Golda Marie Johnson Hunt. She was a member of Aberdeen Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher.  She was very active in many of the ministries in the church.

Eliza Ann Cockriel, 78, of Bowling Green, KY entered into rest Thursday, November 27, 2014.

A native of Butler Co., KY she was the daughter of the late Taylor and Eva Woosley Deweese. She is preceded in death by her brother, Glespie Deweese.

Linda H. Jenkins Weldon 55, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully with her family and friends at her side, Sunday, November 23, 2014 at her residence.  Linda was born April 15, 1959 in Bowling Green.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Jenkins.

Deloide C. Evans, 71 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday, November 25,2014 at his son's residence. Deloide was born November 28, 1942 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Carl and Louie Abner Evans. He was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Young's Manufacturing and loved to rabbit hunt. Deloide is preceded in death by his parents and one brother J.C. Evans.

Mildred Faith Jennings, 76, died on Monday, November 24, 2014, at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington,KY. She was born in Sunfish, KY, on February 9, 1938. After traveling with her husband R.L. throughout the U.S.

BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- Linda Nash, 68, of Morgantown passed away at 5:15 am. on November 22, 2014 at the Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation Center.
