Polley E. Jones, 90 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday December 18, 2014 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab. Polley was born on Saturday June 21, 1924 in Butler County Kentucky to the late Dillard and Mary Heady Adkins and wife of the late Paul Jones Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Anna Faye Matthews, three sons Dillard Harold Jones, Earl M. Jones and Richard C. Jones and several brothers and sisters.

Juanita Rippy Grant, age 72, of Cedar Hill, passed away Wednesday,December 17, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday,
December 19, 2014 at 11am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Billy Bowers officiating. Burial will
follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Brandon Bond, Mitch Bond, Michael Blackburn, Odell Grant, Drake Scarborough, Jimmy Jackson

Leslie Alvin Garner, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Hurstborne Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Leslie was born June 23, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Leslie and Ethel Louise Humphrey Garner. He is preceded in death by three sisters Opal Garner, Betty Shephard and Hazel Henderson.

Don Belcher, 75 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his residence. Don was born April 27, 1939 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Thurston and Agnes Engler Belcher. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and owner and mechanic of C&D repair. Other than his parent he is preceded in death by one brother H.B. Belcher and one sister Lois Cook.

Margaret Dee Fugate, 79 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, December 8, 2014 at her residence. Margaret was born on Monday, October 14, 1935 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Jessie Nathaniel and Laura Jane Webster Martin and wife of the late Lloyd Edward Fugate. She was a member of the women's auxiliary, retired as a supervisor from Kellwood after 29 years of work. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting , working in her yard and spending time with her family. Other than her parents and husband Margaret is preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

Artie Wayne Bratcher, 64, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his residence.  Artie Wayne was born July 20, 1950  in Butler County  to the late Artie  and  Polly Bratcher.  He was  a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on junk cars.  He was member of  Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel.
 

Ella R. Smith, 88, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tn.  Ella was born Feb.12, 1926  in Bell County  to the late Willie and Mabel Alley Phipps.  She was  a Homemaker and enjoyed quilting and taking care of her husband and children.  She attended Morgantown First Baptist Church.  She was  preceded in death by her husband, William O. Smith; parents, Willie and Mabel Phipps; one brother, Wilson Phipps; one sister, Allie Sturgil and two brothers in law, Walter Sturgil and T.K. Smith.
 

Leah Hester Gary Warner (90), died November 24, 2014. Leah was born September 13, 1924 to William Odra and Margaret Alice Jones Gary, in Welchs
Creek, Kentucky. She was a graduate at age 16 from Butler County High School (KY) in the class of 1941. After graduating from the Andrew Jackson Business
School, in Nashville, Tennessee, she worked for the Butler County Clerk's office until joining the Cadet Nurse Corp in 1944. She moved to Lexington

Patricia Faye Cook, 54 of Alexandria, KY, passed away December 4, 2014 at the UC Medical Center. Trish was a homemaker.
She is survived by her parents Billie and Shirley Duncan. Her loving husband Rev. Timothy Cook, son; Shaun (Adriane)Cook; daughters Shannon (Brian) Alexander and Brittanie (Jake) Apke. Grandchildren ; Kylie Alexander, Keenan Alexander , and Aria Cook.

Joseph Earl Dewees age 66 of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Hosparus inpatient care center in Louisville Ky., Joseph was born on March 9, 1948 in Louisville Ky. to the late Ralph and Georgetta Dewees. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, a retired carpet installer, and was of the Catholic faith. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sons Jeffrey and Neil Miller and 1 great grandson Michael Miller.
