Clyde Jeril Deweese

Clyde Jeril Deweese 66, died Oct. 6, 2016, at his residence.  He was the husband of Bonnie Parrish Deweese.  He will be laid to rest at the Bonnie and Clyde Deweese Cemetery, Region Road in Roundhill, KY, which he founded.

Aubrey Ray “Joe” Peay

Aubrey Ray “Joe” Peay, 84, of Reed, Kentucky, died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Friday, September 30, 2016. Now he flies with the angels.

He was born March 25, 1932, in Butler County, Kentucky, one of eight children, to the late Aubrey Peay and Katie Peay. Joe graduated from Rochester High School in 1952. He worked at Swift’s and retired from Alcoa after 29 years. He enjoyed going to estate sales and auctions and working on cars. He was a Baptist.

Darrick Wayne Cannon

 Darrick Wayne Cannon, 51, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the Medical Center Hospital, Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Warren County on January 13, 1965 to the late Jane Elms Cardwell and Gary Cannon who survives.  Darrick was a member of Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church and served with the Kentucky Army National Guard.

James R. Ferguson, 81 of Scottsville, Ky. formerly of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at the Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care in Scottsville, Ky. James was born June 17, 1935, in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Herbert Presley and Peachy Tula Evans Ferguson. He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters Mable Bates, Lucille Geary and Mary Bates and two brothers Jessie and Derman Ferguson.

Larry Rone Taylor

Larry Rone Taylor, 69 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Larry was born July 15, 1947, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Bobby Rone and Allie Mae Johnson Taylor. He was of the Baptist Faith, a United States Army Veteran, a member of the Cassia Lodge #272, Rizpah Shrine Temple and Butler County Shrine Club and a retired truck driver. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his stepfather Harold Newton Wiley and one sister Frances Lorene Taylor Morris.

Christine Dwyer Jenkins

Christine Dwyer Jenkins, 94 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at her residence. Christine was born on Saturday, March 24, 1922, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Will and Lillian Moats Dwyer and wife of the late Clyde Jenkins. She was a member of Morgantown Church of Christ, a retired teacher from the Butler County Board of Education and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.

Carl Edward Clymer

Carl Edward Clymer, 68, of  Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. He was born in Oklahoma on December 29, 1947 to the late Delbert and Elva Rozell Clymer.  He was a U.S. Marine, Vietnam Veteran.  Carl was a construction worker, a member of the V.F.W.  He enjoyed hunting and remodeling old jeeps.   He was preceded in death by his parents.

Inis Marie Swift, 63 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Inis was born July 20, 1953, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Opal and Eva White Dockery. She was a member of White Ridge Church and was employed by Casco. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Angie Swift Lynch; one brother Helbert Dockery and two sisters Neva Pharris and Faye Sorrells.

Barbara Kay Hunt, 69, of Morgantown passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Muhlenberg Co. on February 20, 1947, to the late Everett Ray and Francis Christine Carter Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John D. Hunt, sister Sue Hunt, brothers Danny, Carl, Lindel and Larry Ferguson.

Barbara A. Riley, 37 of Cromwell, Ky. passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at the Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro Kentucky. Barbara was born September 30, 1978, in Bowling Green, Ky.to Kenneth House and Sharon Pinkston who survives.
Barbara A. Riley is survived by her father Kenneth House and wife Cheryl of Cromwell, Ky.; mother Sharon Pinkston and husband George of Stanley, Ky.; two daughters Breanna and Cheyanna Scott; brother Ben House; aunt and uncle Janice and Gerald Phelps and two nephews and one niece.
