Lovejoy "Bud" Brown Marders, 89, of  Morgantown, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center, Morgantown, Ky. He was born in Memphis, Tn. on April 12, 1927, to the late Andrew Lovejoy and Margaret Taylor Brown Marders.  He retired from General Electric, was a member of Rochester United Methodist Church and was an avid U of L basketball fan.    He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Marders is survived by cousins Joanna Brown Blaney (John) and Pamela Brown Thompson (Garry).
Graveside Service will be held at Rochester Cemetery on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 11 am under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Rochester United Methodist Church, PO Box 28, Rochester, Ky.  42273.
