Donnie Dewayne Flener, 61 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at his residence. Dewayne was born September 4, 1955, in Butler County Kentucky to the late Foy C. and Flora Mae Flener and husband of the late Nova Robinson Flener. He was a retired boilermaker and a member of the Boilermaker Local #40. Other than his parents and wife he is preceded in death by two sisters Vondalene Hill and Judy Forbes and two brothers Chester and Ed Flener.
Donnie Dewayne Flener is survived by one son Andrew Forbes (Jerri Ashten) of Morgantown, Ky.; two grandchildren Keegan Elizabeth Forbes and Levi Thomas Forbes both of Morgantown, Ky.; four sisters Dorene Harrison of Morgantown, Ky., Debbie Kidd (Dallas) of Morgantown, Ky., Gay Heilman (Jim) of Shepherdsville, Ky. and Loretta Curtis of Louisville, Ky.; special friend Amanda Coy and her daughters Monicca Coy and Miranda Frady all of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, November 4, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Vernon Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with Boilermaker Rites conducted at 7:00 pm by Local #40. Visitation will also be Friday, November 4, 2016, from 8:00 am until funeral time at 1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
